The General Assembly of the French Motorcycling Federation (FFM) has renewed its management team for 4 years. On the proposal of the newly elected Steering Committee, Mr. Sébastien Poirier was elected with 88,4% of the votes to the Presidency for the 2020-2024 mandate.
Sébastien Poirier, President of the FFM
“I would like to thank the members of the Steering Committee and the General Assembly for their trust. I would also like to salute my predecessor Jacques Bolle, whom I have had the pleasure of supporting since 2008 in the General Management of the Federation, for his exceptional and decisive contribution to the influence of the French Motorcycle Federation both nationally and 'international.
My ambition is to continue the development of motorcycle sport by opening it to new practices, particularly those of leisure. Indeed, French society is evolving in its approach to sport and we must adapt to this by widely encouraging all audiences.
I also want a Federation that is committed to young people.
I will obviously strengthen and amplify support for Motorcycle Clubs, Departmental Committees and Leagues.
We will work to better accommodate our licensees on the 850 motorcycle practice sites in France, our sporting offer must be accessible to as many people as possible and in the best conditions.
At the high level, the detection and support of pilots will be priorities, real levers for the influence of our sport.
Finally, I intend to initiate a proactive policy of prevention against violence of all kinds, promoting the social responsibility of motorcycling activities. »
