Sébastien Poirier, President of the French Motorcycling Federation, made it one of the major axes of his mandate which began in October 2020: the speed sector must reform to help our younger generations succeed our two illustrious champions of the moment , Fabio Quartararo and Johann Zarco.

At the end of a reflection with the National Speed Commission and its President, Patrick Coutant, it was decided to place the Pre-Moto3 category with Grand Prix objective at the heart of the training system by transforming it into a springboard for the championships. Europe and the World.
How ? By creating a new category integrated into Pre-Moto 3 which brings together riders behind the handlebars of Honda NSF250 R, a perfect motorcycle to access the European Talent Cup and the FIM CEV Junior World Championship Repsol Moto 3, the antechamber of Moto3 .

The show should benefit, especially since the 2021 calendar will visit a new track: the Alès circuit (30). Which brings the total number of championship dates to seven. A craze which attests to the ever-increasing mobilization of motorcycle clubs and their volunteers, the cornerstone of this major French speed series.

We can expect some great fights between the end of March and mid-September on the most beautiful speed tracks in France.
