As part of the revitalization of the French FSBK-FE Championship, the French Motorcycling Federation with the support of GMT94 and the Flembbo team, has awarded 3 wild cards for the Magny-Cours event, fifth stage of this Championship.

With the objective of promoting the best drivers of the French FSBK-FE Championship internationally and facilitating access to the WSBK World Championship, the FFM is taking a further step by offering 3 wild cards for the WSBK event in Magny- Classes on September 09,10, 11 and XNUMX.

Valentin Debise and Matthieu Gregorio in SSP600
With 10 victories in 10 races contested, Valentin Debise, boss of the French Championship in the Supersport 600 category, won the wild card within the Yamaha GMT94 team to participate in the French round. Valentin will have a Yamaha R6 prepared in the workshops of the Parisian structure and will benefit from the technical and human support of the team managed by Christophe Guyot.

Author of a remarkable season in the French SSP 600 Championship and runner-up to Valentin Debise in the provisional ranking, it is logical that the second wild card is awarded to Matthieu Gregorio. Aged 21, the rider from Fontanes (30) will benefit from the support of the FFM, GMT94 and Yamaha to participate in the 7th stage of the WSBK World Championship within his own structure.

Loris Chaidron winner in SSP300
The young Loris Chaidron, recent winner of the 1st SSP300 race at Magny-Cours in FSBK-FE, will have a wild card within the Flembbo team, our French team at the World Cup, to participate in the tricolor round of the World Championship Superbike. Being over 16 years old, the minimum age required to participate in the SSP300 world championship, Loris will benefit from the experience of the Flembbo team to express himself for the first time on the international scene.

Sébastien Poirier (President of the FFM) : “ After the success experienced in 2021, we are taking a new step this year by offering 3 wild cards offered to representatives of the French FSBK-FE Championship. The FFM does everything it can to help French drivers express themselves on the international scene. Our partnership with GMT94-Yamaha and the Flembbo team aims to promote our French Championship and demonstrate the sporting quality of the drivers who participate in it. »

Christophe Guyot (GMT94 Team Manager) : « The wild card project led in FSBK by the GMT94, the FFM and Yamaha brings enthusiasm and competitiveness to a French championship which displays full Supersport 600 grids every weekend. Records have been broken on all French circuits. It is certain that in the years to come, many pilots from the FSBK will find themselves at the international level defending the French colors at the highest level. The FFM and Yamaha have supported us from the start to reward the championship leader, and now we are also alongside the FFM to help the best young person it has designated. We wish Valentin good luck this year as well as the lucky one. Both of them will bring this fantastic project to the WorldSBK in Magny-Cours. »

Laurent Engel (Team Manager of the Flembbo team): « The wild card offers the selected candidate the opportunity to discover the functioning of a world-class structure. Loris will benefit from all the support of the Flembbo team, without any difference with our permanent riders. He will have an official motorcycle, a dedicated mechanic as well as an engineer and will be able to benefit from all our experience. »
