The track is dry this morning in Aragón for the only race of the day in the FIM CEV Moto3 junior world championship.

Daniel Holgado (KTM, OpenBank Aspar Team) achieves the Holeshot despite a good start from Xavi Artigas (Honda, Leopard Impala Junior Team), while Lorenzo Fellon (Honda, Junior Team Estrella Galicia 0,0) roughly maintains its position. We left for 15 laps!

Quickly, a group made up of Holgado, Artigas, Pedro Acosta (KTM, Team MT-Foundation 77), Jose Julian Garcia (Honda, SIC58 Squadra Corse), Diogo Moreira (Honda, Junior Team Estrella Galicia 0,0), fellon et Max Cook (Honda, British Talent Team) manages to open up a small gap.

In the long straight, everyone is having a blast playing the little game of aspirations. Garcia, Holgado and Artigas seem the most incisive.

Garcia manages to take two steps ahead in front Artigas while Lorenzo Fellon dropped to ninth place. Behind, we observe Clement Rougé (Husqvarna, Laglisse Academy) in 16th position.

11 laps from the checkered flag, Moreira and Acosta hold on, while the latter could still play for the title against Artigas...

The race is then led by Izan Guevara (KTM, OpenBank Aspar Team), reigning champion of the European Talent Cup qualified in 22nd position!
But everyone seems to be reserved, like Lorenzo Fellon, now sixth but author of the best lap in the race.

As usual, the race is decided in the last laps, without holgado which falls two loops from the finish. Lorenzo Fellon prepared well for his final by moving up to second position but widened when taking the lead, which relegated him to sixth place.

The accelerating pace does not allow him to return to fight for victory and the Frenchman concludes in a very solid 4th position at the foot of the podium behind Guevara, Artigas and Garcia.

In the championship, Artigas is now 29 points ahead of Guevara, 37 on Garcia and 41 on Acosta.

Two races are on the program for tomorrow…

Izan Guevara : “I am happy with this victory! It was a difficult race for me, as I started from twenty-second position and had to come back within a few laps to prevent the leading group from slipping away. Within three or four laps I was in the group, and I immediately tried to get in front to set the pace. In the end, we managed to win again after the victory in Jerez, and I would like to thank the team for their work.”
