Two rounds in two days to decide the 2020 titles: Everything will be played out on the Ricardo Tormo circuit!

After another incredible season in 2020, the time has almost come to bring down the curtain on competition for the FIM CEV Repsol. There are two rounds remaining in a final weekend of competition, and the Ricardo Tormo Circuit will host the title deciders. Because the crown remains up for grabs in all categories, promising a great final weekend.

En FIM Moto3™ Junior World Championship, Xavier Artigas (Honda, Leopard Impala Junior Team) is in the lead, but its gap has been considerably reduced during the last races, thanks in particular to the triple victory ofIzan Guevara (KTM, Openbank Aspar Team) in Aragón last time. The driver, now second in the overall standings, won all three races at MotorLand starting from far back on the grid, putting him just 10 points behind Artigas. Will he be able to continue his momentum in Valencia? There are 75 points left on the table for the final three races of the FIM Moto3™ JWCh, making any prediction for the crown all the more risky as Xavier Artigas is in good form, including a podium in the Moto3™ Grand Prix as a wildcard in Aragón.

It is also far from being limited to a duel for the crown, since Jose Julian Garcia (Honda, SIC58 Squadra Corse) is 41 points behind the leader and Peter Acosta (KTM, Team MT-Foundation 77) at 42, so with still 75 points everything remains open.

On the French side, our two representatives are not in the title race but we are pleased to observe the progress of Lorenzo Fellon (Honda, Junior Team Estrella Galicia 0,0) which remains at its best in Aragón. The name of the young Frenchman is the subject of an interesting rumor, and he has every interest in continuing his upward trajectory so that it turns into good news...

For the European Moto2™ Championship, the picture is a little different as we approach the last two races of the year, but, with 50 points to distribute, it is still far from being fixed.
Yari Montella (Speed Up, Team Ciatti – Speed Up) is 23 points ahead but in Aragon, its discontinuous domination stopped against Niki Tuuli (Kalex, Team Stylobike) and Alessandro Zaccone (Kalex, Promoracing) who saved the first match point.

In second position, Niki Tuuli is the closest in the general classification and is looking to take his first victory of the season despite a bag full of podiums in 2020. The Finn comes from the top step of the FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup having regained form and feelings throughout the season. He also fought to the end to try to achieve victories at MotorLand. These two victories were won by Alessandro Zaccone, which allows him to remain in contention for the crown, although he is 41 years old, like a famous compatriot in Grands Prix…

Note the presence of Dominique Aegerter for this final, but still no French in the category.

There are also 50 points left on the table in European Talent Cup, two races from the end.
In this one-make formula powered by Honda, it's David Alonso (Openbank Aspar Team) who leads the peloton with the greatest lead of all the contenders for the different crowns: the Colombian leads by 28 points arriving in Valencia. His closest rival, Zonta van den Goorbergh (Super-B) has, however, won the last four races, which places the Dutchman in an excellent dynamic with full confidence.

Unfortunately, none of the French present in the category were able to score a point this season. A nice surprise for the last of the season from Mateo Pedeneau (MHP Racing – Tech Solutions), Guillem Planques (Larresport Carré d’Or), Bartholomé Perrin (French GP Team) or Marius Henry (Select Machines)?

It all comes down to this: One circuit and two rounds in two days will decide the 2020 champions.
Who will stand on the top step of the podium and who will win the crown? All will soon be revealed in Valencia!
