Imperial in the morning, leaving the rest of the field more than 4 tenths behind thanks to a time of 1'45.051, Jesko Raffin did it again in the afternoon and therefore took pole position for the 4th round of the European Championship FIM CEV Moto2 which takes place this weekend in Barcelona.
During the first qualification, the opposition to the Swiss driver from the Swiss Innovative Investor Junior team was led by Edgar Pons on his Kalex from the AGR team, in front of the 2 Tech3s in the colors of the Wimu CNS team from Hector Garzo et Lukas Tulovic.
Our French representatives, Enzo Boulom et Cedric Tangre, had a little difficulty keeping pace, placing themselves 13th and 17th respectively, 1,9 and 3,7 seconds behind the poleman.
During the 2nd session, on a warmer track but above all with a headwind in the straight which explains the slower times, the Spaniard Augusto Fernandez brought his Suter to within 2 tenths of the 1'45.359 of Jesko Raffin in front of the essential Mistral Tech3, while Edgar Pons could not do better than 6th fastest. Note the Italian's 5th place in the Speed Up Tommaso Marcon under the colors of the Ciatti team.
On the French side, although the times still fell by around 3 tenths, the positions did not move an inch.
