Yari Montella stands out again in qualifying, his pole position at Jerez. Niki Tuuli and Keminth Kubo share the front row with him.
In the second session of the day the temperatures are higher, a fact that we have seen recently also in the World Championship events. It doesn't slow down too much though. Niki Tuuli, who set the best time of the session as well as his best personal time during this qualifying session on Friday. Two tenths behind him, the championship leader Yari Montella, while Alessandro Zaccone obtained third place, only 23 thousandths behind his compatriot.
As initially said, the combined rankings show us how bad it still is Yari Montella which makes the difference. Even after QP2, he remained the only one to go under the 1'43 wall, thus ensuring pole position for the two rounds in Jerez de la Frontera. Niki Tuuli is in second place with a disadvantage reduced to three tenths, while Keminth Kubo is third. The Thai will, however, have to be wary first of all ofAlessandro Zaccone, determined not to lose contact with the Italian and the Finn who precede him in the general classification.
