Le FIM CEV Repsol 2021 championship had decided to open its second round, in this case on the Ricardo Tormo Circuit from Cheste, to Valencia, continuingEstoril with Daniel Holgado's victory (GasGas, Aspar Junior Team) in Moto3, already leader of the general classification. The trend was confirmed in the Moto2 European Championship, with a new success for Fermin Aldeguer (Boscoscuro Talent Team-Ciatti), after his two victories in Portugal.

After the holeshot Fermin Aldeguer (Boscoscuro Talent Team-Ciatti) who started from second position, it was his teammate, Alonso lopez (Boscoscuro Talent Team-Ciatti), who had started from pole position, regained the lead of the race and even managed to create a gap of up to 15 laps from the checkered flag following an accident involving Leon Orgis (Kalex, Avintia Esponsorama Junior Team).

Once it is restarted, Alonso lopez made the holeshot in front Taigahada (Kalex, AGR Team) and took back command where he had left it, but with 7 laps to go nothing prevented Fermin Aldeguer to seize the leadership to achieve a third consecutive victory for the third race of the championship. Promising, even though he has only just passed the 16-year mark!

Alonso lopez was once again second, completing the dominance of the Boscoscuro drivers, while the Malaysian Adam Norrodin (Kalex, Liqui Moly Intact SIC Racing Team) took the third step of the podium for the second time this year.

Andy Verdoïa (Kalex, ), qualified 13th, was in 11th position at the cutoff, before crossing the finish line 8th. A great result for the Frenchman who continues to score points in each round.

In the title race, Fermin Aldeguer, Alonso lopez et Adam Norrodin are the first three with 75, 60 and 45 points respectively, while the next round will take place in Barcelona on June 13.

The race can be seen on Youtube, at 2 hours and 12 minutes:
