The sun is still shining for this second Moto3 race during the sixth round of the junior world championship in Jerez.
After this morning's race, there is of course a feeling of revenge between James Masia (KTM, Cuna de Campeones), Dennis Foggia (KTM, Junior Team VR46 Riders Academy) et Alonso Lopez (Honda, Junior Team Estrella Galicia 0,0) ...
When the red lights go out, Alonso lopez once again made the best start but was quickly overtaken by James Masia who wants to make up for his mistake during the first race of the day. And like this morning, Dennis Foggia shows that his level has nothing to do with his 7th place in qualifying by immediately joining the debate in the lead.
In the lead, we exchange command between Lopez, Foggia, and Masia under the eyes of a platoon led by Perez (KTM, Reale Avintia Academy).
After three rounds, Bedroom (Honda, Junior Team Estrella Galicia 0,0), and Polanco (Honda, Leopard Junior Team), two strong men in the championship, hang on and fall.
Shortly after, however, a group of seven pilots managed to break away from the pack: Lopez, Foggia, Masia, Perez, Ogura, Vietti Ramus (KTM, Junior Team VR46 Riders Academy) et Masaki.
As is often the case, we overtake ourselves and repeat ourselves, which slows down the pace and allows us to overtake and repeat ourselves...
At the back of the pack, Clement Rougé makes a mistake after 6 laps while the multiple overtakes at the head of the race allow the peloton led by makar Yurchenko (KTM, Reale Avintia Academy) to pick up.
Many of them temporarily seized command and, halfway through, we witnessed an attack byOgura (Honda, Asia Talent Team) which overflows Foggia and Masia. Like the previous ones, this attempt did not last long, with new Dennis Foggia taking command most of the time, even if it did not bring him luck this morning.
Six laps from the checkered flag, Jaume Masia tries to escape but his attempt is blocked by the two pilots of the Junior Team VR46 riders Academy. Never mind, the young Spaniard gets back to work and even manages to gain an advantage of 6 tenths in front of the two Sky VR46 pilots, Vietti Ramus and Foggia.
Vietti Ramus makes small mistakes and falls into line while Foggia leads the chase in front of the group led by Alonso Lopez.
At the start of the last lap, Masia no longer had any lead in front of Lopez and Foggia who immediately attacked him. Lopez is doing the best but must cede command to Foggia before the latter concedes new ones to Masia.
Masaki (Honda, Asia Talent Team) and Vietti Ramus (KTM, Junior Team VR46 Riders Academy) collide on the last lap.
Spirits are hot and hearts are strong and, in the last corner, there is an almost inevitable collision between Masia, Foggia (KTM, Junior Team VR46 Riders Academy) and Lopez (Honda, Junior Team Estrella Galicia 0,0)!
An unexpected Ai Ogura (Honda, Asia Talent Team) takes the chestnuts out of the fire in front Vicente Perez (KTM, Reale Avintia Academy) and Makar Yurchenko (KTM, Reale Avintia Academy).
Jason dupasquier finished in a good 12th place, Lyvann Luchel 27e.
In the championship, nothing changes in the lead but Alonso Lopez loses his 3rd place to Vicente Perez (see here)
