The FIM CEV Repsol Championship passes the halfway point of the season this weekend, with its fifth round at MotorLand Aragón following the final event at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. On this occasion, the program includes a Moto3™ race, two Moto2™ races and two European Talent Cup races.

Spanish Jeremy Alcove (Honda, Laglisse Academy) comes first in the FIM Moto3 Junior World Championship™ after taking his first victory of the season in Barcelona, a victory which, together with the third place obtained in the first race (where he won but received a 1,6 second penalty for leaving the track), places him at six points ahead of the Belgian Barry Baltus (KTM, Sama Qatar Angel Nieto Team). He is 28 points ahead of the Japanese Yuki Kunii (Honda, Asia Talent Team), who missed the last FIM CEV Repsol round due to injury, but who will race in Aragón.

As a reminder, no Frenchman appears in this antechamber of the Grands Prix.

In the Moto2 European Championship™, Edgar Pons (Kalex, Baiko Racing Team) is the man to beat. The Baiko Racing Team driver is not only the leader of the category with 111 points against the 78 points of Niki Tuuli (Kalex, Team Stylo Bike) in second position, but he took three consecutive victories after three consecutive poles.

The only Frenchman appearing regularly in the Moto2 category, Cedric Tangre continues his learning of the European Championship.

En European Talent Cup, Izán Guevara (Cuna de Campeones) tied Edgar Pons in Moto2 to claim his third consecutive victory. He arrives at MotorLand in a position of strength: the driver of the Cuna de Campeones team is 29 points ahead Fermín Aldeguer (Bester Capital Dubai) and 33 ahead Ivan Ortolá (Sama Qatar Angel Nieto Team).

Of the half-dozen French people appearing regularly in this category which competes on standard Honda Moto3s, Lorenzo Fellon (ZF Grand Prix School) has often stood out, ahead of Vincent Falcone (TFC Racing) and Clement Rougé (French team – GP sector).
