After hosting the Catalan Grand Prix, then the IRTA test day, then the KTM private tests, the Barcelona-Catalunya circuit today welcomes the competitors of the FIM CEV Repsol championship.

This weekend will therefore see the third round of what, at least in Moto3, is considered the antechamber of the Grands Prix.

En Junior Moto3 World Championship, precisely, after the round which took place on the Bugatti circuit of Le Mans, Jeremy Alcove (Junior Team Estrella Galicia 0,0) will have to defend his leadership which is obviously not yet set in stone, the young Spanish driver having 41 points against 33 at Dennis Foggia (VR46 Academy Junior Team).

Alonso lopez (Junior Team Estrella Galicia 0,0), winner at Le Mans ahead of Dennis Foggia and Jeremy Alcoba, is currently 3rd ahead Vicente Pérez (Reale Avintia Academy) and Alex Viu (42Motorsport).

Our French representatives will be three in number, starting with Andy Verdoïa and his KTM in CarXpert Interwetten Junior Moto3 colors, but also Lyvann Luchel (Larresport, Mahindra) and Clement Rougé (Team C-Racer, Kalex).

The Moto3s will have two races this weekend.

In Moto2, the situation turns out to be even more uncertain since the leader, Hafiz Syahrin (Petronas Raceline), will not participate in this round, just like Augusto Fernandez (Easyrace M2), which also competes in the Moto2 World Championship.

Eyes will then undoubtedly turn towards Hector Garzo (Team Wimu CNS), current second in the championship after the only round carried out in Albacete, or towards the essential Steven Odendaal (NTS SportsCode T.Pro) currently in fourth position.

On the French side, we will carefully observe the participation of Corentin Perolari (ex-ZF Grand Prix protégé) riding Christian Boudinot's Transfiomers.

The stainless Philip the Gallo will line up one of the two Superstock 600s in the middle of the Moto2 pack

However, we cannot help but note that with only 24 entries, this Moto2 category does not have the same level as its younger sister.

The Moto2s will also have two races this weekend.

The races will be visible on Sunday on the Eurosport Player or on the channel Dedicated YouTube at the following times:
