The MotoGP calendar is not yet completely set in stone but on the Le Mans side, we have already set a date. The excellent French Grand Prix implemented by Claude Michy's no less perfect team will take place from May 19 to 21, 2017.

The deadlines for the next Grand Prix season are already starting to fall into place. To the point that with the campaign starting on March 26, we are already thinking about whether Formula 1 or MotoGP will steal the show from the other. Because the four-wheeled cars will open their show in Australia on the same date as the missiles equipped with handlebars which will inaugurate their vintage in Qatar.

Considerations which do not affect Sarthe which proudly announces its meeting of the May 19 to 21, 2017. This year, the French Moto Grand Prix broke a new attendance record. 195 spectators. 450 met on Sunday alone on the Bugatti circuit to experience the French round of the MotoGP World Championship and cheer the victories of Jorge Lorenzo in Moto GP, alex rins in Moto2 and Brad Binder in Moto3.

Already in 2015, the attendance record for the event had been broken (as a reminder, 183 spectators in total, including 161 on Sunday), proof of the ever-growing enthusiasm for motorcycle races, which strengthens the round French in the top 93 of Moto GP attendances each season.

Last edition was also an opportunity to formalize the renewal of the organization of the French Moto Grand Prix on the Bugatti circuit, signed by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest and PHA/Claude Michy, promoter of the round. French MotoGP World Championship, until 2021.
