The Moto3 Junior World Championship will be more international than ever this weekend, as the FIM CEV Repsol riders will compete in a race interspersed among the events of the HJC Grand Prix de France on the legendary Le Mans circuit.

They will therefore rub shoulders with all the tenors of last year, starting with the reigning champion Lorenzo Porta Dalla, but also the world championship rookies that are  Ayumu Sasaki et Kaito Toba. In fact, 80% of the riders on the Moto3 World Championship grid have passed through the FIM CEV Repsol.

After the first round which took place in Albacete (see our article here), the provisional classification is as follows: Jeremy Alcove (Junior Team Estrella Galicia 0,0) leads in front Makar Yurchenko (Reale Avintia Academy) and James Masia (Cuna de Campeones).

Three strong contenders for the podium, Alex Viu (42Motorsport), Vicente Pérez (Reale Avintia Academy) and Raúl Hernandez (MRW Mahindra Aspar), will be keen to make up for their misadventures in the land of Don Quixote, whether they involved a fall or a mechanical problem.

During this somewhat atypical round, the program will be somewhat different from the usual since the drivers will participate in two qualifying sessions on Friday, and in the 17-lap race on Saturday at 16:30 p.m.
