Barely got off his Team Repsol Honda RC213V, with which he had just unexpectedly climbed onto the third step of the podium at the French Grand Prix, Dani Pedrosa spoke to the site's microphone MotoGP.com after experiencing a roller coaster weekend.
Congratulations Dani! You are now third in the championship, but how difficult has it been after starting 13th on the grid?
Dani Pedrosa : “I’m really happy with this race! Because I knew it was going to be very difficult. Just going through the first chicane while I was at the back of the pack, I knew it was a lot of pressure to get everything right and then to overtake quickly enough. I knew it was quite easy to lose time at the start of the race. But I was quite aggressive, I did some pretty good overtaking, then I was happy with my pace. I tried not to make any mistakes and I was fourth. At the end, on the last lap, Valentino crashed and it was a great gift. I am very happy to have made up for it today from yesterday. Thanks to the whole team, but also my best thoughts for Nicky and his family. »
