It’s a Jack Miller at the very least happy to have finished with his perilous Grand Prix of France which gave its feeling on arrival. With the legitimate feeling of good work accomplished. On Saturday, the Good Lord had held him by the shoulder straps after a frightening somersault in window one of the Bugatti route. A memory that haunted him during the 28 laps of the race which were a real sword, as the Australian with the bruised body recounts.

Although the consequences of his accident the day before were fortunately not serious for Jack Miller, his body, nevertheless, was affected by this fall at high speed towards a solid and unwelcoming wall: “ I was certainly not in the best shape this Sunday » says the Marc VDS Racing driver who pushed himself to the limit to secure a good eighth place given the circumstances.

« I had burning and pain everywhere. My right wrist had doubled in size like my right knee and riding the bike was a real ordeal. Every movement was torture, accelerating and braking was a feat and right turns were unbearable. My rear end, my legs, my whole body hurt. I was devastated! It must be said that the impact was violent ».

We confirm! but it wasn’t just that… “ this ride has been crazy. For example, Aleix Espargaró passed me and then his engine exploded. It was then Petrucci who overtook me and his engine also gave out. I had oil everywhere, on my visor and also on my leather. I could feel this oil on my legs. I also had to have some on the tires because at one point I was sliding a lot ».

But the efforts paid off: “ I stayed with fast guys, I found a good rhythm and even if the last six laps were hell I brought the bike back into the top 10, which is the goal of every race this year. It was only in Jerez that I missed it but it was because of Bautista ».

Resentment is therefore tenacious and it reveals a character that Lorenzo also denounced. Yet, Miller also has lead in his head. The proof : " I saw that Marc Márquez had crashed in turn one. He was lucky to see the front of the bike go down right away. This turn is very dangerous, there is no doubt about it. With what happened yesterday, I spent this Sunday 28 times in panic because I was dreading it. But I return safe and sound and with points ". A capital which now places him in the top 10 in the provisional general.

He finishes : " I will now rest and undergo intensive care to be as good as possible in Italy and then in Catalonia. There will be two Grands Prix in eight days, so I need to be in good shape ».  Jack Miller Still nothing is certain for the 2018 season.
