The Australian from the Marc VDS team had a good start to the season, with three consecutive top 10s. Eighth in Qatar, he finished ninth in Argentina, then tenth in Austin. His luck unfortunately changed at Jerez, when he was the innocent victim of Alvaro Bautista's crash.

Miller arrives in France with confidence after a good day of testing carried out the day after the last race in Andalusia, but also after two days of positive testing on the Valencia circuit where Michelin had organized a work session on a wet track.

According to Jack Miller, “I have a good feeling because we had a very good pace in Jerez before I got hit and went out of the race. We also found positive things on the Monday after the Grand Prix. Not to mention the fact that the tests in Valencia were also positive, which could well come in handy this weekend.

“For my part, I continued training at home, and I am therefore ready to get back on track at Le Mans with the intention of finding myself on the pace in Jerez. »

For his teammate Tito Rabat, who are " Jerez remains a bad memory only because of the race because for the rest I am happy to have been able to get closer to the best. I had never been so close to them on time since my debut in MotoGP.

“We also had a good day of testing on Monday during which I repeated my qualifying time on racing tires. For all these reasons I am quite optimistic for Le Mans.

“The weather will still be a key factor, but the wet testing we did in Valencia with Michelin, I should be able to cope with any conditions. We have made progress over the last few races and I hope to continue this momentum this weekend at Le Mans. »
