The rain had just accompanied Moto3 and MotoGP and it did not want to be missed by Moto2 which therefore also braved the elements of Sarthe. In the morning it is Baldassari who had led a very Italian dance. Was the humid afternoon going to be of the same ilk?

The session began with the fall of a Pawi yet a great expert on wet tracks in the days of Moto3. A misfortune ignored by Yonny Hernandez who returned from MotoGP. the Colombian in 1'49.580 set the first time to beat. A mission first fulfilled by Nagashima in 1'48.882. But Hernandez did not stop there and regained his property in 1'48.298.
Honorable seventeenth, the new teammate ofagitated, Mackenzie, suffered his first fall in Moto2 on the Suter twenty minutes from the goal. He was imitated by lecuona, but more violently. Then by NAVARRO.
The last quarter of an hour offered an unchanged hierarchy with Hernandez, Nagashima, Syahrin, Alex Marquez et Tom Luthi as a top 5. In the pits, we worked a lot on the forks. On the French side, Quarterly was fifteenth and Virgin eleventh with the Mistral610.
To experience the big upheaval, you had to wait until the last minutes. Luca marini gave the signal for change by passing below the 1'48 mark, a boundary also crossed by Virgin definitely in spirit with his tricolor motorcycle. Hernandez did not give up, however, and took things into his own hands with a 1'47.786 to beat. All in conditions that are still difficult...

The last blow will be delivered by a Alex Marquez who will be the only one to set the benchmark below 1'47 per lap. With his 1'46.931, he snatched the piece ahead of a bagnaia which never ceases to surprise while Yonny Hernandez is third.
A leading trio missed by only five thousandths by Morbidely who is ahead Marini et Virgin. Courses, Syahrin, Olive tree et Lüthi complete the top 10. Fabio Quartararo is sixteenth while the fastest of the day will remain the winner of the morning Baldassari. the latter, in the rain, was content with the eighteenth performance.
