A storm of blue skies welcomes the Moto2 onto a Le Mans track heated to 17° for a final tuning session before the hostilities of the race. Who will be the winner of this French Grand Prix, fifth meeting of the season? Tom Luthi holds the rope, since he will start from pole position.

The same Alex Marquez will be there despite his injury. It's his teammate Morbidely which first set the tone in 1'37.623 before Lüthi does not raise his to 1'37.334. Marini, bagnaia et Alex Marquez took his suction while Virgin planted his Mistral610 in sixth place. In his enthusiasm, Marini fell at turn 8. The half-brother of Valentino Rossi finished fifth in Andalusia two weeks ago. The Italian has never done so well in Moto2.
The last assault on the Swiss fortress was made by bagnaia who took the CarXpert driver's reply in stride. In 1'37.063, the deal was settled and the VR46 driver was content with second place ahead of Baldassari which was revealed in the final seconds.
Courses et Alex Marquez complete the top5 whileOlive tree his KTM is sixth. Portuguese precedes Marina, his teammate Cardus et Morbidely who is satisfied with the ninth beat. It is Xavier Vierge which completes the top10. fabio quartararo is only twenty-third.
