SUPERBIKES

RACE 1: FORAY TOTALLY RELAWS THE CHAMPIONSHIP

Starting like a real cannonball from 4th place, Alan TECHER (Honda CBO – Michelin) made the hole shot. He was immediately put under pressure by Valentin DEBISE (Yamaha – Michelin) and Martin RENAUDIN (Yamaha Moto&GP Addict – Pirelli) who braked him at the end of the first lap. Pole sitter Kenny FORAY (BMW Tecmas – Michelin) is 1th.

In the following laps, FORAY successively took the advantage over RENAUDIN and TECHER to gain 2nd position. Pilots no. 153 and no. 78 then take off. In 5th place, Maximilien BAU (BMW – Michelin) comes back into contact with RENAUDIN and TECHER. At the same time, David MUSCAT (Ducati – Michelin) also joined the group fighting for 3rd place.

At mid-race, the gaps are stable, DEBISE is still the leader ahead of FORAY who seems to be waiting to find the opening. Against all expectations, DEBISE pulls straight through the first turn due to a mechanical breakdown! FORAY then inherits the leadership and heads towards a new victory! More than 1 seconds behind, TECHER is in second place after having made the difference in front of RENAUDIN and MUSCAT who are fighting fiercely for the podium. For his part, Maximilien BAU loses ground on the two men and must face the return of Axel MAURIN (Yamaha CMS – Pirelli), 4th less than 6 seconds behind.

At the checkered flag, FORAY won its second victory of the season, with the best lap in the race and completely relaunched itself in the title race against DEBISE who did not score a single point following his retirement.

Fifth consecutive podium for TECHER who had a superb end to the season on his Team CBO Honda. After a good resistance against MUSCAT, RENAUDIN climbed to the third step of the podium. The rider of the No. 3 Ducati is therefore 4th at the finish, ahead of BAU who completes the top 5. Axel MAURIN takes 6th place ahead of Mathieu GINES (Yamaha Tech Solutions – Pirelli) who once again limits the damage after a delicate race but which lets many points slip away to the benefit of its direct opponents.

The Challenger, Valentin SUCHET (Suzuki Junior Team LMS – Pirelli) places his Suzuki in 8th position just ahead of another young rider named Ludovic CAUCHI (Yamaha – Pirelli) in 9th. In the Challenger category, RENAUDIN therefore wins and gets closer to the title which had eluded him in 2021. On the second and third steps of the podium he finds alongside him BAU, 2nd, and SUCHET, 3rd

.

RACE 2: DEBISE RESPONDS TO FORAY

Put under pressure by Kenny FORAY (BMW Tecmas – Michelin) in the title race, Valentin DEBISE (Yamaha – Michelin) got the best start and placed his machine in the lead ahead of his direct opponent at the end of the first lap. While Valentin DEBISE and Kenny FORAY escape, Maximilien BAU (BMW – Michelin), 1rd, is fighting with Martin RENAUDIN (Yamaha Moto&GP Addict – Pirelli), 3th, and Alan TECHER (Honda CBO – Michelin), 4th.

Taking advantage of the maneuvers of RENAUDIN and TECHER, BAU escaped in turn, thus reducing the gap with the leading duo. Faster than these men at this moment, David MUSCAT (Ducati – Michelin) inserts himself between Martin RENAUDIN and Alan TECHER in the fight for 4th place. 7th and 8th, Gregory LEBLANC (Ducati TWR – Pirelli) and Axel MAURIN (Yamaha CMS – Pirelli) push to get back into the trio.

At mid-race, DEBISE was the only driver to drive in less than a minute per lap, so FORAY was gradually left behind but remained safe from BAU, 3rd.

With 7 laps to go, TECHER, 4th, and MUSCAT, 5th, broke away from the chasing group and got closer to BAU. Hindered by latecomers, RENAUDIN and MAURIN are left behind by these two men, just like LEBLANC who then finds himself isolated in 8th place.

After his misadventures in race 1, DEBISE returned to victory and regained some air in front of his runner-up FORAY, 2nd in the race. The fight between the two men promises to be intense for the final which will take place on September 24 and 25 at the Circuit Paul Ricard.

After resisting the return of TECHER, BAU reached the podium for the first time in his Superbike career. New top 4 for TECHER which is provisionally placed on the third step of the podium in the Championship. He is ahead of MUSCAT who will not have managed to find the opening to overtake the driver of the Honda n°5.

At the finish, Axel MAURIN is 6th ahead of Martin RENAUDIN, 7th overall and 2nd in the Challenger category in which he wins the title of 2022 French Champion!

Despite a good comeback in the middle of the race, LEBLANC only finished in 8th place. The top 10 is completed by Valentin SUCHET (Suzuki Junior Team LMS – Pirelli), 9th in the scartch and 3rd Challenger, as well as Mathieu GINES (Yamaha Tech Solutions – Pirelli) who continues a sixth race without a podium and is now out of the race in the title.

TEMPORARY SUPERBIKE SITUATION:
1- Valentin DEBISE – 230 points
2 – Kenny FORAY – 211 points
3 – Alan TECHER – 180 points
4 – Mathieu GINES – 178 points
5 – Martin RENAUDIN (Challenger) – 147 points

SUPERSPORT 600

RACE 1: DEBISE ELEVEN-TIME WINNER AND TWICE CHAMPION OF FRANCE

In the 1st lap, while Valentin DEBISE (Yamaha – Michelin) is about to take off, Loïc ARBEL (Yamaha – Pirelli) and Enzo DE LA VEGA (Yamaha – Pirelli) hook up and fall in turn no. 2. The red flag is then waved and the race is interrupted.
At the second start, Valentin DEBISE repeated and retained the lead. As usual, Johan GIMBERT (Yamaha – Pirelli) takes risks to stay behind the wheel of the Yamaha n°153.
Despite his efforts, GIMBERT was quickly left behind by DEBISE. Matthieu GREGORIO (Yamaha – Pirelli) is isolated in 3rd place and could perhaps be able to come back over the laps.
At mid-race, DEBISE is still firmly in the leading position while GIMBERT maintains a pace which could ultimately allow him to maintain his 2nd place ahead of GREGORIO... 4th, Cédric TANGRE (Yamaha – Pirelli) is also alone. However, the battle rages for 5th place, between Challenger riders Bartholomé PERRIN (Yamaha – Pirelli) and Kilian AEBI (Yamaha – Pirelli).
At the end of the 20 laps, Valentin DEBISE won his 12th victory of the season and was crowned French Supersport 600 Champion for the second time in a row! GIMERT therefore climbs onto the second step of the podium completed by GREGORIO. TANGRE ranks 4th in the race and is far ahead of PERRIN who manages to keep the advantage over AEBI, 6th.
With 2nd place overall, GIMBERT wins in Challenger ahead of GREGORIO and grabs a few points in the ranking. The top 3 in the category is therefore completed by PERRIN.

RACE 2: 12 OUT OF 12 FOR DEBISE

Same pattern as at the start of race 1, Valentin DEBISE (Yamaha – Michelin) took the lead ahead of Johan GIMBERT (Yamaha – Pirelli) who held on to stay in contact in the first laps. Behind them, Matthieu GREGORIO (Yamaha – Pirelli) is again 3rd, just ahead of Bartholomé PERRIN (Yamaha – Pirelli).

After 6 laps, DEBISE seems to be able to outrun GIMBERT who is struggling to keep the Champion in his sights.

At mid-race, the game seems set for the podium, DEBISE is almost 5 seconds ahead of the #77 Yamaha and GREGORIO is no longer under pressure from PERRIN. Conversely, the latter is less than 2 seconds ahead of Corentin BRENON (Kawasaki – Pirelli), 5th, and Matthieu LUSSIANA (Yamaha – Michelin), 6th, and could be attacked by the two men at the end of the race.

DEBISE will no longer be worried and continues its quest for the grand schlem with a new victory. The top 3 is therefore identical to that of race 1 with the Challengers GIMBERT, 2nd, and GREGORIO, 3rd, who accompany DEBISE on the box. Finally, PERRIN was not caught by his pursuers and signed his best result of the season with 4th place. In the same way as BRENON, 5th after having left LUSSIANA, 6th.

Encouraging results for Dylan MILLE (Yamaha – Pirelli), Adrien ROLLET (Yamaha – Pirelli), Diego PONCET (Kawasaki – Pirelli) and Hugo ROBERT (Yamaha – Michelin) who complete the top 10 in that order.

TEMPORARY SITUATION SUPERSPORT 600:
1- Valentin DEBISE – 308 points
2 – Matthieu GREGORIO (Challenger) – 200 points
3 – Johan GIMBERT (Challenger) – 158 points
4 – Loïc ARBEL – 134 points
5 – Enzo DE LA VEGA – 101 points

GRAND PRIZE OBJECTIVE

PRE-MOTO 3

RACE 1: WILD-CARD WIN FOR MIGNOT

Coming as a wild card for this 6th round, Henri MIGNOT (Béon – Bridgestone) started from pole position and kept the lead at the end of the 1st lap. Swan EMPRIN (Béon – Bridgestone) remains well nestled in the leader's aspiration while Remy SANJUAN (Béon – Bridgestone) struggles to stay in contact in 3rd place.

After braking at MIGNOT, EMPRIN becomes leader shortly before halfway, the two boys remain wheel to wheel. SANJUAN is less than 2 seconds behind the leading duo and is not giving up.

At the end of the race, MIGNOT regains the advantage over EMPRIN and takes advantage of the experience acquired in the Spanish Championship to take cover. He then won more than 3 seconds ahead of the driver of the Béon n°96 who took the second step of the podium. In 3rd place, the public found SAJUAN, author of a good race, but who did not manage to come back into contact with EMPRIN to attempt an attack.

While he had a golden opportunity to shine in the absence of Matthias ROSTAGNI, his runner-up Célestin MASY (Béon – Bridgestone) took very little advantage of it and finished his race in 7th place.

RACE 2: UNBEATABLE MIGNOT

As in race 1, Henri MIGNOT (Béon – Bridgestone) takes the lead. This time the driver of the Béon n°78 quickly takes off ahead of Remy SANJUAN (Béon – Bridgestone), 2nd, while Swan EMPRIN (Béon – Bridgestone) is 3rd, but far from the pace of the two drivers in front of him.

With 4 laps to go, while MIGNOT managed his lead, SAJUAN was forced to retire following a mechanical breakdown. Swan EMPRIN then inherits 2nd place just ahead of Camil BISSANE (KTM – Bridgestone) and Quentin MANDINE (Béon – Bridgestone), all three more than 10 seconds behind the leader and fighting for 2nd place.

At the end of the 20 laps of the race, MIGNOT won, with more ease than in race 1 and scored a nice double on the Circuit Carole. For its part, EMPRIN resists attacks from BISSANE and MANDINE to secure 2nd place. BISSANE is therefore 3rd and MANDINE, 4th. Note, Célestin MASY (Béon – Bridgestone) only ranks 8th but moves back to the top of the standings with 11 points. Everything is then restarted for the final at the Circuit Paul Ricard, where ROSTAGNI could make his return to competition.

TEMPORARY SITUATION PRE-MOTO 3:
1– Célestin MASY– 168 points
2 – Matthias ROSTAGNI – 157 points
3 – Camil BISSANE – 143,5 points
4 – Quentin GODEFROY – 137 points
5 – Quentin MANDINE – 130,5 points

NSF250

RACE 1: KASSIGIAN SHINES IN FRONT OF THE LEADERS

Good start from Eliott KASSIGIAN NSF 250 – Bridgestone) who gets the better of Jules BERCOT (NSF 250 – Bridgestone). After 3 laps, the driver of machine no. 9 already has more than 2 seconds ahead of Jules BERCOT who is battling with Benjamin CAILLET (NSF 250 – Bridgestone), 3rd.

At mid-race, KASSIGIAN seems to have done the hardest part by leading the proceedings with almost 6 seconds ahead of the CAILLET – BERCOT duo, still fighting for 2nd place… And for the title.

Without trembling, KASSIGIAN won his first victory of the season and in style, ahead of the two leaders of the Championship. After making the difference in the last lap, CAILLET took second place ahead of his rival BERCOT! Great operation in the race for the final top 3 for Kyle PAYNE (NSF 250 – Bridgestone) who finished in 4th place.

RACE 2: KASSIGIAN DOUBLES THE BET

Building on his first victory in race 1, Eliott KASSIGIAN (NSF 250 – Bridgestone) made his effort to try to make the difference from the first laps. This is not to the taste of Jules BERCOT (NSF 1 – Bridgestone) who hangs on and keeps the leader in his sights. In 250rd place, Benjamin CAILLET (NSF 3 – Bridgestone) quickly suffered the blow and was more than 250 seconds behind the leader after 6 laps.

At mid-race, KASSIGIAN is 3 seconds ahead of BERCOT. Too far away to attempt an attack, BERCOT nevertheless remains on the lookout for a possible drop in power from KASSIGIAN. CAILLET is left behind in 3rd place and is not under threat from Evan BOXEBERGER (NSF 250 – Bridgestone), 4th, more than 4 seconds behind.

Finally, KASSIGIAN showed himself to be imperial until the checkered flag and won 5''666 ahead of BERCOT, 2rd. CAILLET completes the podium at the foot of which the public finds BOXEBERGER, well back after his withdrawal in race 1.

TEMPORARY SITUATION HONDA NSF 250:
1 – Benjamin CAILLET – 190,5 points
2 – Jules BERCOT – 184,5 points
3 – Elliot KASSIGIAN – 167,5 points
4 – Lorenzo GUYAU – 134 points
5 – LUCAS BOSSON – 113,5 points

SUPERSPORT 300

RACE 1: FRIEH RESISTS DAHMANI AND WINS

Louca FRIEH (Motoboxtrc – Pirelli) takes the best start and is ahead of Enzo DAHMANI (Yamaha – Pirelli) at the end of the 1st lap. Despite the insistence of the Championship leader, FRIEH retains the advantage after 5 laps. The pace of these two boys is higher than that of Cyprien BABY (Yamaha – Pirelli), David DA COSTA (Yamaha – Pirelli) and Dorian JOULIN (Yamaha – Pirelli) who are losing ground in 3rd, 4th and 5th rows.
At mid-race, when coming back into contact with the backmarkers, DAHMANI gave up a few tenths of a second to FRIEH. But the Yamaha No. 13 is immediately able to get back on track after getting rid of these riders. For his part, Cyprien BABY, 3rd, leaves Dorian JOULIN and David DA COSTA behind while Evann PLAINDOUX (Yamaha – Pirelli), 6th, makes a crazy comeback after setting off from the pit lane.
3 laps from the checkered flag, BABY comes back within the same second as the leader. Despite the incessant pressure from DAHMANI, 2nd, FRIEH remains solid and takes the victory. After a superb end to the race, BABY climbs onto the third step of the podium. Evann PLAINDOUX gets the better of Dorian JOULIN and Loris CHAIDRON (Yamaha – Pirelli) before completing his spectacular comeback to 4th place, a remarkable performance! JOULIN therefore completes the top 5, ahead of CHAIDRON, 6th. Justine PEDEMONTE (Yamaha – Pirelli) finished in 7th position, ahead of David DA COSTA, losing pace in the second part of the race.
18th overall, Evan PALHIER (Yamaha – Pirelli) won the Challenger category ahead of Théo TAUVERON (Yamaha – Pirelli), 20th, and Valentin ROEDEL (Yamaha – Pirelli), 24th.

RACE 2: DAHMANI WINNER AND CROWNED CHAMPION

Excellent start to the race from Dorian JOULIN (Yamaha – Pirelli) who takes the lead after the first lap. He was immediately chased by Enzo DAHMANI (Yamaha – Pirelli), Cyprien BABY (Yamaha – Pirelli), Evann PLAINDOUX (Yamaha – Pirelli) and David DA COSTA (Yamaha – Pirelli).

In the following laps, DAHMANI steals the leadership from JOULIN who is also overtaken by BABY. In the process, DAHMANI increases the pace and quickly creates a comfortable cushion of 2 seconds ahead of the group of pursuers composed in this order of JOULIN, BABY, PLAINDOUX and DA COSTA.

With 5 laps to go, while the situation was stable in the top 5, DA COSTA was forced to pit due to a mechanical problem. So only JOULIN, BABY and PLAINDOUX remain in the running for the 2nd step of the podium.

At the end of a well-run race, Enzo DAHMANI won and was crowned 300 French Supersport 2022 Champion! BABY took cover in the last laps to take 2nd place, more than a second ahead of JOULIN who completed the top 3. JOULIN was the big loser of this battle and finished just off the podium. Great performance from Kilian ROSSIGNOL (Yamaha – Pirelli) who completes the top 5.

In Challenger, Théo TAUVERON (Yamaha – Pirelli) takes his revenge by finishing in 18th place ahead of Evan PALHIER (Yamaha – Pirelli), 19th. Jordan HESS (Kawasaki – Pirelli) reached the podium in the young rider category with a 23rd place overall.

SIDECAR

RACE 2: PEUGEOT / PEUGEOT: A SIXTH VICTORY AND HOPE

This time, PEUGEOT / PEUGEOT does not need to be asked and immediately takes control of the race in front of its rival PERILLAT / KOTCHAN. Despite the efforts of the No. 52 crew, PEUGEOT / PEUGEOT made the break in a few laps. Behind, the fight for the third step of the podium begins between WISSEN / SALMON and BOUCHER / BOUCHER.

At mid-race, PEUGEOT / PEUGEOT seems to have already made the difference ahead of PERILLAT / KOTCHAN who are more than 10 seconds behind. WISSEN / SALMON also makes the effort to get rid of BOUCHER / BOUCHER who is suffering the blow.

Without surprise and without possible dispute, PEUGEOT / PEUGEOT offers itself a 6rd victory and reduces the gap in the Championship with PERILLAT / KOTCHAN, 2rd of the race, before the final. Until the checkered flag, WISSEN / SALMON did not relax and took their revenge by climbing onto the podium at the expense of BOUCHER / BOUCHER, 4rd. For his part, JACQUEMMOZ / ENJALBERT completes the top 5 and remains in contact with the BOUCHER brothers in the Championship.

In the short chassis category, the fastest is once again LEGUEN ROUBY, 8rd in the scratch ahead of MOREL / CHENU, 9rd, and QUILBAULT / LASSIA which closes the top 10.

TEMPORARY SIDE-CAR SITUATION:
1– PERILLAT / KOTCHAN – 222 points
2 – PEUGEOT / PEUGEOT – 197 points
3 – LEASE / LEVEAU – 150 points
4 – BUTCHER / BUTCHER – 131 points
5 – JACQUEMMOZ / ENJALBERT – 120 points
