TIMED TESTS: EFFECTIVENESS SIGNED BY DEBISE

While he occupies first position, Valentin DEBISE (Kawasaki Twist Ring Racing – Dunlop) falls mid-session! However, the work is already done for the Albigensian author of a time of 1'16''881 which gives him pole position for the race on Sunday morning.

In second row, Kenny FORAY (BMW Tecmas – Michelin) uses his experience to get a time of 1'17''276 ahead of Morgan BERCHET (Yamaha – Dunlop) who completes the top 3 in 1'17''452.

The reigning French Champion, Mathieu GINES (Yamaha Tech Solutions – Michelin), will start from 4rd place on the starting grid following his 1'17''546. 5rd, Axel MAURIN (Yamaha CMS – Michelin) finished in 1’17”575 ahead of David MUSCAT (Ducati – Michelin) in 1’17”992.

Author of 7rd time in 1'18''099, Matthieu LUSSIANA (Yamaha – Dunlop) proves that he must be counted on this weekend at Pau Arnos. Just below Yamaha n°195 on the timesheet, Challenger rider Martin RENAUDIN (Yamaha Moto&GPAddict – Pirelli) ranks 8rd scratch and first in his category in 1'18''236. Riding the No. 38 Ducati, Gregory LEBLANC (Ducati – Pirelli) finished 9rd in 1'18''330 ahead of the second Challenger driver: Guillaume ANTIGA (Honda – Michelin) 10rd at the scratch in 1'18''367.

It’s also a great performance for Maxime HERTZBERG (Yamaha – Pirelli) who completes the top 3 Challenger. He unfortunately ended his session with a fall after having recorded an honorable time of 1'18''551.

We also note the absence of Alan TECHER (BMW Tecmas – Michelin), following a fall during the 3rd free practice session, the luxury resident of the Tecmas team will not be able to continue this weekend.

TIMED TESTS: BERCOT IN FRONT OF DEBISE!

Shortened by the arrival of rain, the qualifying practice session highlighted the speed of Challenger rider Tom BERCOT (Yamaha – Pirelli), author of pole position in 1'18''318. However, you will have to be quick in the race because Valentin DEBISE (Kawasaki – Michelin), always efficient, finished in second place in 1'18''414 and will not let himself be held back by his young and spirited opponents!

The other favorite of the Challengers, Ludovic CAUCHI (Yamaha – Pirelli), completes the first row of the starting grid following his 3rd scratch place in 1'18''446.

Au 4rd rank, the paddock finds Matthieu GREGORIO (Yamaha – Pirelli), 3rd Challenger rider in 1'19''668 ahead of another Challenger: Vincent FALCONE (Yamaha – Pirelli) in 1'19''728. The 2rd and 3rd Supersport riders, Dylan MILLE (Yamaha – Pirelli) and Adrien ROLLET (Yamaha – Dunlop), finished 6rd and 7rd at the scratch in 1'19''738 for the first and 1'20''218 for the second.

GRAND PRIX OBJECTIVE – PRE MOTO3
TIMED TESTS: FARGIER AT THE TOP

Great performance for Mathis FARGIER (Brevo PM3)! Riding the machine bearing the number 213, he set the best time in 1'24''761. In second place, the young Remy SANJUAN (KTM RC4R) finished in 1'25''718 ahead of Mattéo ROMAN (KTM RC4R) in 1'26''511.

Please note, Jules BERCOT (Beon Honda), can also apply for the front positions in the race following his very good 1'26''515, synonymous with 4rd time.

Bad pick, however, for the overall leader: Amaury MIZERA (Beon Yamaha) fell in his first lap and did not set a time.

TIMED TESTS: BEST TIME FOR MARIUS

The young Henry MARIUS (Honda) won against his opponents during the timed practice session and finished the session in 1'25''029. The latter will have to watch out for Lorenzo GUYAU (Honda) who runs in the same times and finishes in 1'25''243.

We also note the arrival of Evan BOXEBERGER (Honda) in the category. He marks his first stint in the French Superbike Championship with 3rd time in its category in 1'28''633.

TIMED TESTS – SERIES A: PUSH ADVANTAGE

At the top of the timesheet, there are only two of them to go under the 1'27 mark! Always efficient, Alexis BOUDIN (Yamaha FT Racign Academy – Michelin) took the best time of the series in 1'26''091 ahead of Alexy NEGRIER (Yamaha – Pirelli) in 1'26''420. Line VIEILLARD (Yamaha FT Racing Academy – Michelin), very close to the fastest, wins 3rd series time in 1'27''059 just ahead of Adrien QUINET (Kawasaki – Pirelli) in 1'27''281.

In SSP300 Challenger, Lucas LINXE (Kawasaki – Pirelli) finishes 5rd scratch and 1er in its category in 1'27''880. Ludovic AMOURET (Kawasaki – Pirelli) and Robin SAUTEREAU (Yamaha – Pirelli) rank 2 respectivelyrd and 3rd of the subcategory in 1'28''343 and 1'28''655.

TIMED TESTS – SERIES B: PONCET, SURE VALUE

It's the turn of the B series to enter the scene! When the rain arrived mid-session, two riders were more comfortable than the others: Diego PONCET (Kawasaki – Pirelli) and Florent DA CUNHA (Kawasaki – Pirelli), they are the only ones to ride less 1'27.

However, reckless when the track dried, they picked up again to establish their superiority in 1'26''285 for PONCET and 1'26''539 for DA CUNHA. Also effective, Anatole BEAUPÈRE (Kawasaki – Pirelli) is getting closer to the leaders in the 2rd part of the session and he too goes below the 1'27 mark with the 3rd time in 1'26''638.

In SSP 300 Challenger, Fergus CHRETIENNOT (KTM – Pirelli) is the fastest in 1'28''344 ahead of Enzo DAHMANI (Kawasaki – Dunlop) in 1'28''404 and Dorian JOULIN (Yamaha – Pirelli) in 1'29''297.

Combined with the two series, BOUDIN took pole position ahead of PONCET. NEGRIER, for his part, will start from 3rd place on the starting grid.
In SSP300 Challenger, LINXE set the best time ahead of AMOURET and CHRETIENNOT.

“LAST CHANCE” RACE: PLAINDOUX, IN THE LAST LAP

Following a great battle, Evann PLAINDOUX (Kawasaki – Pirelli) made the difference in the last lap and won by a hair against Enzo DAHMANI (Kawasaki – Dunlop).

Same scenario for Valentin BRULEY (Yamaha – Pirelli) who takes 3rd place in the last lap in front of Loup HAUSS (Kawasaki – Pirelli).

Germain PILLOUX (Yamaha – Pirelli) closes the top 5 of riders selected for the Sunday races.

RACE 1: LEGLISE / LAVOREL WINNER AGAINST PEUGEOT / PEUGEOT

Despite a great start and a first lap in the lead, PEUGEOT / PEUGEOT lost the advantage at the very start of the second lap to LEGLISE / LAVOREL. With a racing pace on average 2 seconds faster than their opponents, the two crews battled alone in the lead in the first laps until LEGLISE / LAVOREL widened the gap on side no. 74.

In the second part of the race, PEUGEOT / PEUGEOT managed to catch up with his opponent to fight for the lead. However, side n°74 made a mistake and went off the track on the last lap while it was in the slipstream of LEGLISE / LAVOREL! The latter therefore crosses the finish line victorious with more than 20 seconds ahead of PEUGEOT / PEUGEOT which, after returning to the track, finishes second.

Au 3rd rank, GUIGNARD / POUX moves at a pace too slow to catch up with the leaders but sufficient to spend almost the entire race in the same position. He finishes by managing his effort on the 3rd step of the podium in front of LUNEAU / BIDAULT and BARBIER / RIGONDEAU.

In F2, the local stage, PALACOEUR / CESCUTTI, is the most efficient and wins. Second place is to the credit of LEBLOND / CESCUTTI who finished ahead of LEBLOND / DOUANE CHAZELLE.
