SUPERBIKES

RACE 1: FORAY FINDS THE SUMMIT

Surprise during the warm-up lap, the leader of the Championship Valentin DEBISE (Yamaha – Michelin), having to start 2rd, did not start due to a mechanical problem.

In pole position for the first time this season, Alan TECHER (Honda CBO – Michelin) retains his place in 1er lap and takes the lead, taking Kenny FORAY (BMW Tecmas – Michelin) on his wheel.

After 3 laps, more than 2 seconds separate the leading duo of Martin RENAUDIN (Yamaha Moto&GP Addict – Pirelli), 3rd ahead of Axel MAURIN (Yamaha CMS – Pirelli). Party 10rd, Mathieu GINES (Yamaha Tech Solutions – Pirelli) is already in 5rd place and fight with Maximilien BAU (BMW – Michelin) while Tom BERCOT (Honda CBO – Michelin), well placed in the top 10, falls heavily.

Au 8rd lap, FORAY takes the advantage in front of TECHER and tries to widen the gap, but the driver of the Honda n°5 hangs on. At the same time, RENAUDIN, 3rd, takes shelter from MAURIN, 4rd, while BAU, ironed 5rd in front of GINES, makes life difficult for the three-time reigning French Champion.

FORAY widens the gap with TECHER and increases its lead to just over a second at 17rd round. Behind, RENAUDIN is still 3rd while BAU gets the better of MAURIN and takes 4rdplace. For its part, GINES is still 6rd, but not able to attack the pilots in front of him.

At the end of the 20 laps, FORAY triumphed for the first time of the season and returned to the race for the Championship. On its momentum, TECHER signs a new podium after its great performance in Lédenon. It is also a second consecutive podium for RENAUDIN, once again 3rd.

Au 4rd rank, the public finds Maximilien BAU back at the forefront. After a difficult first part of the season, the Ardennes driver scored his best result in the premier category. MAURIN lands a new top 5 and is ahead of GINES, 6rd. Probably not the expected result for the rider of the Yamaha n°41 who still scored 10 points and came back neck and neck with DEBISE in the title race, despite his hand injury.

In this order, from 7rd at 9rd rank, David MUSCAT (Ducati – Michelin), Gregory LEBLANC (Ducati TWR – Pirelli) and Valentin SUCHET (Suzuki Junior Team LMS – Pirelli) finished in the same second.

In Challenger, it is a new victory for RENAUDIN who is ahead of BAU, author of his first podium of the season, and SUCHET, once again well placed. Good performance also for Ludovic RIZZA (Yamaha – Pirelli) who completes the top 10 scratch.

RACE 2: DEBISE RETURNS TO SUCCESS

Author of the holeshot, pole sitter Kenny FORAY (BMW Tecmas – Michelin), immediately found himself under pressure from Valentin DEBISE (Yamaha – Michelin). After 2 laps, the driver of the BMW n°78 gave in to the Albigensian, Alan TECHER (Honda CBO – Michelin), remained in contact at 3rd rank.

Au 4rd lap, the race direction intervenes with a red flag following the fall of Alexis LAMIRE (Yamaha – Pirelli) in the heart of the peloton.

At the second start, TECHER took control before DEBISE took control of him a lap later. FORAY once again joins the leading trio. At 4rd rank, Maximilien BAU (BMW – Dunlop) is still well placed, but under threat from Axel MAURIN (Yamaha CMS – Pirelli) and Martin RENAUDIN (Yamaha Moto&GP Addict – Pirelli).

After 6 laps, DEBISE increases the pace and distances its opponents. Conversely, TECHER accuses of blow and cedes the 2rd place in FORAY, relegated to more than 2 seconds of the Yamaha n°153.

Lap after lap, the gap stabilizes, FORAY remains in ambush behind DEBISE, on the lookout for any opportunity to get closer and overtake. Behind, the debates are heated between BAU, RENAUDIN and MAURIN.

Finally, DEBISE crossed the finish line with 2''093 ahead of FORAY, 2rd, and remains in control of the French Championship at the end of this 4rd stage of the season. The BMW Tecmas team driver has his best weekend of the year with a victory followed by a 2rd place. At 3rd rank, TECHER is also on an upward slope with three podiums in a row.

In the last laps, RENAUDIN got the better of his opponents and won 4thrd place in the race ahead of MAURIN, 5rd, and BAU, 6rd. In difficulty because of his hand injury, Mathieu GINES (Yamaha Tech Solutions – Pirelli) limits the damage with the 7rd place. He is ahead of Valentin SUCHET (Suzuki Junior Team LMS – Pirelli) who returns to third place on the podium in the Challenger category of which RENAUDIN and BAU are respectively 1er and 2rd.

SUPERSPORT 600

RACE 1: DEBISE LEAVES NO HOPE FOR GREGORIO

Even before the start, Loïc ARBEL (Yamaha – Pirelli) and Johan GIMBERT (Yamaha – Pirelli) suffered mechanical problems and returned to the pits.

Pole sitter Valentin DEBISE (Yamaha – Pirelli) keeps the advantage at the end of the first lap, but Matthieu GREGORIO (Yamaha – Michelin) takes his wheel and tries to attack him.

Only a few laps were enough for DEBISE to get rid of the rider of the #24 Yamaha. At 3rd rank, Matthieu LUSSIANA (Yamaha – Dunlop) is relegated to more than 5 seconds of Matthieu GREGORIO after 6 laps. Dylan MILLE (Yamaha – Pirelli) is 4rd and tries to stay in the wake of the Moto Team 95 pilot. To find a battle, you have to go back to the 5rd and 6rd positions, where Enzo DE LA VEGA (Yamaha – Pirelli) and Kilian AEBI (Yamaha – Dunlop) are fighting to enter the top 5.

At the end of a completely controlled race, DEBISE won a 7rd rank victory, again ahead of GREGORIO, this time not able to fight with the Albigensian. After her absence during the previous round, LUSSIANA returned in the best possible way by signing her second podium of the year. In the last laps, MILLE made a mistake and was overtaken by DE LA VEGA and AEBI who took the 4rd and 5rd places in the race.

In Challenger, GREGORIO therefore wins again ahead of AEBI which achieves its best result in 2022. The top 3 in the young rider category is completed by Bartholomé PERRIN (Yamaha – Pirelli), continuing its good progress with the 8rd place of the race.

RACE 2: 8 OUT OF 8 FOR DEBISE

Once again, Valentin DEBISE (Yamaha – Pirelli) and Matthieu GREGORIO (Yamaha – Michelin) escaped instantly. As in race 1, Matthieu LUSSIANA (Yamaha – Dunlop) takes 3rdposition, he is this time chased by Kilian AEBI (Yamaha – Dunlop), Johan GIMBERT (Yamaha – Pirelli) and 6 other riders including Loïc ARBEL who returned to the top 10 after starting from 4rd starting grid line.

Before halfway through the race, DEBISE increases the pace and distance GREGORIO. Behind the guard, the fight continues to rage in the group of pursuers.

In the second part of the race, the group disperses, LUSSIANA opens up a slight gap with GIMBERT, 4rd, while AEBI is overtaken by ARBEL who overcomes his opponents one by one.

At the checkered flag, DEBISE once again shows its superiority in Supersport 600 by winning for 8rd times in as many races. GREGORIO still stands out as DEBISE's best opponent with the 2rd place of the race. On the third step of the podium, LUSSIANA confirms his strong return aboard his Yamaha No. 95. After a race without scoring a single point, GIMBERT, 4rd, signs a great performance, just like ARBEL who completes the top 5 ahead of AEBI, 6rd.

No surprise in Challenger, GREGORIO won ahead of GIMBERT and AEBI. 7rd in scratch, Bartholomé PERRIN (Yamaha – Pirelli) improves race after race and ranks 4rd of the category.

TIMED TESTING: ROSTAGNI OVERVIEWS QUALIFYING

Whatever the conditions, Matthias ROSTAGNI (Béon – Bridgestone) is often the most skilled in qualifying. The driver of the Perles de Fruits team took a new pole position in 1'24''427, thus relegating the competition to more than two seconds.

Quentin MANDINE (Béon – Bridgestone), in 1'26''547, is 2nd in qualifying with a time faster than those of Quentin GODEFROY (KTM – Bridgestone), 3rd in 1'26''761, and Camil BISSANE (KTM – Bridgestone), 4rd in 1'27''713.

While he largely dominated the proceedings, ROSTAGNI fell in contact with a late rider halfway through the race. MANDINE then inherits the leadership coveted by GODEFROY, 2rd.

At the checkered flag, GODEFROY is unable to attack MANDINE who wins her very first victory in FSBK-FE! Having regained the handlebars of his machine after his fall, ROSTAGNI still managed to get on the podium. At 4rd rank, the public finds Camil BISSANE (KTM – Bridgestone), also author of a great race.

HONDA NSF 250

TIMED TESTING: BERCOT ON POLE IN FRONT OF PAYNE AND Caillet

After a mixed weekend in Lédenon, Benjamin CAILLET (NSF 250 – Bridgestone) is determined to regain his leadership position. The driver of the No. 6 Honda moved to the top of the timesheet from the start of qualifying. However, mid-session, his direct opponent in the Championship Jules BERCOT (NSF 250 – Bridgestone) dislodged him by setting a new reference time of 1'25''343.

Lap after lap, BERCOT continued to improve and finished in pole position with a time of 1'29''771. Kyle PAYNE (NSF 250 – Bridgestone) slots himself between the two rivals by setting his best time during his final attempt: 1'25''874. CAILLET is therefore 3rd in 1'26''053.

RACE: CILLET VICTORIOUS IN FRONT OF BERCOT

In the first laps, Jules BERCOT (NSF 250 – Bridgestone) takes the lead, his direct competitor in the Championship Benjamin CAILLET (NSF 250 – Bridgestone) is slightly behind.

At mid-race, CAILLET returned to BERCOT's wheel before taking the advantage over his rival. Behind them, Evan BOXBERGER (NSF 250 – Bridgestone) is fighting for 3rd place with Lorenzo GUYAU (NSF 250 – Bridgestone) and Kyle PAYNE (NSF 250 – Bridgestone).

In the second part of the race, CAILLET insisted and took a decisive lead in front of BERCOT. The driver of the No. 6 Honda then returned to victory after his setbacks at Lédenon. The duel for 3rd place is won by BOXBERGER who dominates GUYAU, 4rd and PAYNE, 5rd.

SUPERSPORT 300

TIMED TESTS: POLE IS FOR PLAINDOUX

The young people in the Supersport 300 category are the first to set off this Sunday, in delicate conditions, as the heatwave has given way to thick mist and light rain.

In these conditions, Evann PLAINDOUX (Yamaha – Pirelli) was the quickest and took pole position in 1'27''094. On the first row of the starting grid, he will be accompanied by overall leader Enzo DAHMANI (Yamaha – Pirelli), 2rd in 1'27''378, and Loris CHAIDRON (Kawasaki – Pirelli), 3rd in 1'27''878.

Great performance from Challenger D Jefferson DELBOSC (Kawasaki – Pirelli) who qualifies at 4rd rank in 1'28''109. Two favorites complete this second row: Louca FRIEH (Motoboxtrc – Pirelli), 5rd in 1'28''875, and Dorian JOULIN (Yamaha – Pirelli), 6rd in 1'28''896.

the 2rd Challenger is Evan PALHIER (Yamaha – Pirelli), 13rd at the scratch in 1'30''826. We have to go back to the 18thrd chrono to find another Challenger, it is Théo TAUVERON (Yamaha – Pirelli), in 1'32''685.

RACE: FULL BOX FOR PLAINDOUX

Pole sitter Evann PLAINDOUX (Yamaha – Pirelli), takes the best start and maintains the lead of the race in the 1er round. The driver of the Yamaha n°92 does not escape and takes Dorian JOULIN (Yamaha – Pirelli), Louca FRIEH (Motoboxtrc – Pirelli), Enzo DAHMANI (Yamaha – Pirelli) and Loris CHAIDRON (Yamaha – Pirelli) in his wheel. A great battle is looming between these candidates for the title of Champion of France.

After 6 laps, FRIEH takes control of the leading group which remains very grouped. The public also observes the evolution of D Jefferson DELBOSC (Kawasaki – Pirelli), isolated from 6rd rank.

In the second part of the race, the leading men battled for victory. PLAINDOUX regains the lead in front of FRIEH then keeps his opponent at bay before winning for the first time this season. FRIEH therefore climbs onto the second step of the podium completed by DAHMANI. Less than 2 seconds from the winner at the checkered flag, CHAIDRON and JOULIN complete the top 5.

Thanks to her beautiful 6rd place, D Jefferson DELBOSC won in the Challenger category ahead of Evann PALHIER (Yamaha – Pirelli) and Valentin ROEDEL (Kawasaki – Pirelli), respectively 18rd and 21rd scratch.

SIDECAR

RACE 1: PERILLAT / KOTCHAN TAKES POWER

Determined to return to the top of the F600 ranking, PERILLAT / KOTCHAN took off perfectly and placed his side in the lead at the end of the 1er round. In the second row, BOUCHER / BOUCHER tries to follow suit but the leader's pace is too high. The two brothers then find themselves under threat from PALACOEUR / CESCUTTI, 3rd.

After 8 laps, while PERILLAT / KOTCHAN managed its lead of 15 seconds, PALACOEUR / CESCUTTI took the advantage over BOUCHER / BOUCHER who immediately lost contact with the side n°122. For its part, LE BAIL / LEVEAU is isolated at 4rd rank.

PERILLAT / KOTCHAN then won in comfort and temporarily regained leadership of the French Championship. At the end of the race, PALACOEUR / CESCUTTI is no longer worried and crosses the line in 2rd position. In the last laps, LE BAIL / LEVEAU surprises BOUCHER / BOUCHER and overtakes him, thus climbing onto the box.

In F2, PALACOEUR / CESCUTTI therefore wins for the benefit of its 2rd place in the scratch and ahead of MOREL / DARRAS, 6rd, and BLERVAQUE / CHEVALIER, 8rd.

After the checkered flag, the crews pay tribute on the track to César CHANAL, former FSBK-FE sidecar driver who lost his life at the Tourist Trophy last week.

RACE 2: PERILLAT / KOTCHAN DOUBLE THE BET

Already dominating in race 1, PERILLAT / KOTCHAN reproduced the same effort in the first laps to settle comfortably in the leading position. Behind the leader, LE BAIL / LEVEAU, PALACOEUR / CESCUTTI and BOUCHER / BOUCHER remain grouped, from 1rd the 4rd instead.

Lap after lap, while PERILLAT / KOTCHAN manages the situation in the lead, LE BAIL / LEVEAU, 2rd, increases the pace to get rid of his two pursuers, PALACOEUR / CESCUTTI and BOUCHER / BOUCHER, who remain wheel in wheel.

With 5 laps to go, BOUCHER / BOUCHER suffered a mechanical problem and had to retire. PALACOEUR / CESCUTTI then finds itself without competition at 3rd rank and JACQUEMMOZ / ENJALBERT inherits 4rd place, more than 30 seconds from side n°122.

After 13 laps, PERILLAT / KOTCHAN won again without trembling on the Pau Arnos track. LEASE / LEVEAU, 2rd, gains a place after race 1 and is ahead of the local PALACOEUR / CESCUTTI stage, author of a new scratch podium with an F2. JACQUEMMOZ / ENJALBERT retains its 4rd to the checkered flag.
