Le French Superbike Championship (FSBK) will be stopping off at the Paul Armagnac Circuit in Nogaro from May 23 to 25, 2025, for the third round of the season, organized by ASM Armagnac Bigorre with the support of the French Motorcycling Federation. After a start to the season marked by high-level performances and a good turnout at the Le Mans and Lédenon circuits, the Gers circuit, a true sanctuary for Championship fans, once again promises a rich spectacle orchestrated by the cream of French speed.
During this 3rd round of the Championship, the drivers and the public will discover a brand new weekend format, suitable for the show. On Saturday afternoon, the SPRINT races make their appearance., while on Sunday afternoon, a more flexible schedule will allow fans to enjoy numerous on-track activities between races.
SUPERBIKE: FORAY AGAINST ALL
Kenny FORAY (TECMAS BMW MOTORRAD FRANCE – Michelin), the record holder for the number of French Championship titles, has had a near-perfect start to the season, scoring two successive doubles, at Le Mans and then at Lédenon. With four wins in as many races, he has already established himself as the man to beat in this 2025 campaign, with a cushion of 43 points over his nearest rival. With his two podiums, Hugo CLERE (TATI TEAM AVA6 RACING – Pirelli) is in 2nd place in the provisional standings. The rider from Ain has had his best start to the season in the category and now seems to have taken control of the Honda perfectly, which could allow him to close in on the leader at Nogaro.
Behind, the young generation of Superbike is pushing hard: Martin RENAUDIN (DAFY-RAC41-HONDA – Michelin), Loris CRESSON (TECMAS BMW MOTORRAD FRANCE – Michelin) and Enzo DE LA VEGA (Yamaha TEAM CMS – Pirelli) should be the X factors of this 3rd round of the Championship. Of course, we will also have to count on the experienced Grégory LEBLANC (Ducati TEAM TWR – Pirelli), Alan TECHER (DAFY-RAC41-HONDA – Michelin) and Mathieu GINES (Yamaha BMRT 3D Maxxess – Michelin), although the three men have had an up-and-down start to the season.
On the Challenger side, leader Enzo DE LA VEGA (Yamaha TEAM CMS – Pirelli) remains under threat from his rivals, notably Roméo MICHAUD (Honda TATI TEAM AVA6 RACING – Pirelli), 2nd, and Kilian AEBI (Suzuki JUNIOR TEAM LMS – Pirelli). In addition, the Lédenon stage demonstrated that nothing was written in advance, with the capital performances of Mathias MICHAUD (Honda TATI TEAM AVA6 RACING – Pirelli) and Paul Dufour (Honda TATI TEAM AVA6 RACING – Pirelli), who will redouble their ambitions at Nogaro.
FIGHTING ON ALL LEVELS
In Supersport 600, Bartholomé PERRIN (Yamaha DMT RACING – Pirelli) took the lead in the provisional standings thanks to a solid performance at Lédenon, which ended with a victory. Behind him, the reigning vice-champion Alexy NEGRIER (Triumph TEAM B2S – Michelin) remains in ambush, as do Diego PONCET (Honda MARTIN GARAGE-RAC41 600 – Pirelli) and Gabin CAZARD (Yamaha TEAM CMS – Michelin), also a winner in the Gard. These four guys could well fight for the places of honor in the Gers, and play the leading roles throughout the season.
In the Yamaha Challenge SSP 700, Jules BERCOT (Yamaha FT RACING ACADEMY – Michelin) arrives with the leading status, but the competition is tough. Tony GUERRERO (Yamaha TEAM PMR – Michelin), Gabin CAZARD (Yamaha TEAM CMS – Michelin) and Benjamin CAILLET (Yamaha – Michelin) are more than in the game and will try to catch the Yamaha #25 at Nogaro.
In Objectif Grand Prix by Motul, Nolann MACARY (Honda KF78 ACADÉMIE – Pirelli), solid leader after two rounds, will have to contain the ambitions of Gabriel PIO (Honda BRS – Pirelli) and Esteban NEIL (Honda TATI TEAM AVA6 RACING – Pirelli), determined to shake up the hierarchy. In Moto 4, Léandre MARTINEZ (Beon BRS – Pirelli) has dominated the debates since the opening of the Championship, but Milan ENJOLRAS (Beon TATI TEAM AVA6 RACING – Pirelli) and Jacques CARPENTIER (Beon TFC RACING – Pirelli) intend to reverse the trend. In Moto 5, Teddy BERTHELOT (MIR TEAM BERRY PERFORMANCE – Pirelli) has the upper hand in the Championship, but will have to deal with the increasing pressure exerted by Juliann DE GOL (Erdog DMT RACING – Pirelli) and Dario BARALE (MIR – Pirelli), on a circuit that forgives no mistakes.
In Side Car, the standings are very tight, with only 13 points separating the leaders PEUGEOT / PEUGEOT and VINET / VINET after four races. This promises a great battle between the #4 and #74 teams at Nogaro.
