The day after the parade in the town center of Nogaro, a privileged and appreciated moment of sharing among Gers enthusiasts, the pilots returned to their business this Saturday. Despite a capricious sky above the Circuit Paul Armagnac, the qualifying sessions kept all their promises during this second round of the French Superbike Championship organized by ASM Armagnac Bigorre and the FFM.
The opportunity for the public in the southwest to see the best French drivers evolve, particularly in the premier category, where at least 8 of them present themselves as formidable contenders for the title this season.

QUALIFICATION: 2ND ROUND, 2ND POLE POSITION FOR GUARNONI

On a drying track, the headliners launch hostilities and successively improve their marks in the first laps. Mike DI MEGLIO (Honda CBO – Michelin), Jeremy GUARNONI (BMW MDS – Dunlop), Grégory LEBLANC (Ducati TWR- Pirelli), Kenny FORAY (BMW Tecmas – Michelin) are gradually taking stock of the track conditions and successively returning to the stands for changing sets of tires. Halfway through the session, everything accelerates, multiple drivers seem able to create a surprise. However, the hierarchy will eventually regain a certain logic...

While he did not want to take the track in FP3, Jérémy GUARNONI clearly has no regrets. The driver of the No. 11 BMW continues the fast laps until he takes pole position in 1'28”507 under the nose and beard of Martin RENAUDIN (Yamaha Supported Team Moto&GP Addict – Pirelli). After gradually gaining confidence during the session, the Sarthe native still took 2nd place on the starting grid in 1'28''966, ahead of many big names. In particular DI MEGLIO, 3rd in 1'29''050 for whom an additional lap would not have been refused to try to further improve his time.

With his #1 BMW, FORAY will have to settle for 4th place in 1'29''172 and will be accompanied on the second row by his former teammate Alan TECHER (Honda CBO - Michelin), 5th in 1'30''284, and local David MUSCAT (Ducati – Michelin), 6th in 1’30”412.

After a small fall in FP3, Mathieu GINES (Yamaha – Michelin) managed to qualify in 7th position with a best time of 1'30”641, ahead of Grégory LEBLANC, 8th in 1'30”980 and the best Challenger Corentin PEROLARI (Yamaha Moto Ain – Pirelli), 9th in 1’31”154.

Great performance from Damien Saulnier's new protégé, Kilian AEBI (Suzuki LMS – Pirelli), who completes the top 10 and signs the 2nd time in the Challenger category: 1'31”337. After an appearance in the top 3 during the session, Ludovic CAUCHI (Yamaha – Pirelli) is 11th in 1'31”832 and therefore 3rd in his category.

RACE 1: GINES AS BOSS

The Hondas of Mike Di MEGLIO (Honda CBO – Michelin) and Alan TECHER (Honda CBO – Michelin) got the best start and took the lead after the first lap. Martin RENAUDIN (Yamaha Supported Moto&GP Addict – Pirelli), 1nd on the grid, takes the right car and places himself behind the two red machines. Mathieu GINES (Yamaha – Michelin), 2th at the start, is 7th and seems able to quickly join the fight with the three leaders.

In the first 3 rounds RENAUDIN transcends himself. The n°75 attacks Di MEGLIO then TECHER and takes the lead of the race. Behind, Mathieu GINES is less than 2 seconds behind the leading trio, leading the two BMWs of Jérémy GUARNONI (BMW MDS – Dunlop) and Kenny FORAY (BMW Tecmas – Michelin).

At mid-race, RENAUDIN, still in the lead, tried to calm the enthusiasm of the Honda n°5 of TECHER, particularly fast in a straight line. The gaps are closing, the top 6 is close to hand. On the 9th lap, the Le Mans rider finally broke down, TECHER braked him and took control of the race. In the process, GINES appears in front of Di MEGLIO then RENAUDIN and takes 2nd place behind TECHER. GUARNONI and FORAY imitate him, slotting into 3rd and 4th row behind the Breton. RENAUDIN and Di MEGLIO then fell back to 5th and 6th places in the space of a few turns.

With 4 laps to go, a new quartet formed in the lead, made up of TECHER, GINES, GUARNONI and FORAY. Confirming its good form, GINES got the better of TECHER before very quickly widening a significant gap on its pursuers. Renewed performance in the last laps for FORAY who overtakes GUARNONI then TECHER. Perhaps already too late to hope to catch up with the leader... Conversely, TECHER is losing pace and sees its 3rd place threatened by GUARNONI.

The difference made in the final laps will be enough to allow GINES to win its first race of the season. The triple French Champion rediscovers the taste of victory, having not won since Lédenon 2022. Usually less comfortable on the Gers track, FORAY offers himself his first podium of the season in front of another BMW, this by GUARNONI, executioner of TECHER, 4th, in the last lap. For its part, RENAUDIN completes the top 5 with the point for the best lap in the race. His best result of the season, but the Sarthe native probably harbors regrets after leading the race for 7 laps.

Less than 4 seconds behind, Grégory LEBLANC (Ducati TWR – Pirelli) ranks 6th, ahead of the winner of the Challenger category, Corentin PEROLARI (Yamaha Moto Ain – Pirelli), 7th overall. After a small, minor fall on the 13th lap, Di MEGLIO got back on track and only finished in 8th place. Discreet since the start of the weekend, Axel MAURIN (Yamaha CMS – Pirelli) is 9th ahead of Dylan MILLE (Yamaha – Pirelli) who closes the top 10 and takes 2nd place in the Challenger category, Léo CHALLAMEL (Yamaha – Pirelli ), 11th, completes the podium.

RACE 2: GUARNONI SHINES AT HOME

The Honda drivers heckled in race 1 sounded the revolt from the start. They both took the lead at the end of the first lap. Alan TECHER (Honda CBO – Michelin) leads the way ahead of Mike Di MEGLIO (Honda CBO – Michelin), nestled in his wheel. In 3rd place, Kenny FORAY (BMW Tecmas – Michelin) is part of a trio of favorites with Jérémy GUARNONI (BMW MDS – Dunlop), 4th and Mathieu GINES (Yamaha – Michelin), 5th. Martin RENAUDIN (Yamaha Supported Moto&GP Addict – Pirelli) had a more difficult start and was relegated to 6th place.

In the first laps, TECHER and Di MEGLIO engaged in a fierce fight for leadership. For the moment it is the driver of the #5 Honda who retains the lead in the race but his teammate is showing more and more pressure. Behind them, FORAY, 3rd, and GUARNONI, 4th, are slightly behind. The Toulouse driver then increases the pressure on the n°1. Mathieu GINES struggles to stay in contact with the BMWs but stabilizes his 5th place in front of the combative RENAUDIN, 6th a few lengths away. The driver of the Yamaha n°75 is in the crosshairs of Grégory LEBLANC (Ducati TWR – Pirelli), 7th.

On the 5th lap, Di MEGLIO snatches first place from TECHER! After multiple attacks, the former Grand Prix World Champion leads the race, without being able to escape. In the process, FORAY and GUARNONI catch up with the leading duo, which suggests an exciting second part of the race.

Thanks to the longevity of its Dunlop tires, GUARNONI is incisive and takes the advantage over FORAY after 10 laps. The latter then sees machines No. 36, No. 5 and No. 11 moving away. He then watched from a distance as GUARNONI overtook TECHER then Di MEGLIO on the 14th lap. The licensee of the organizing club of Armagnac Bigorre then took the lead of the race for the first time.

Despite multiple responses from Di MEGLIO and TECHER, GUARNONI remained imperial until the checkered flag and triumphed at home. A relief for the 2018 French Champion who started from pole position in the 3 previous races without winning. After his small mistake in race 1, Di MEGLIO reacted and won his third podium of the season. Statistics also valid for TECHER, 3rd in the race.

For its part, FORAY scored the points for 4th place ahead of GINES. A positive weekend for the last two French Champions who are gaining confidence before the Lédenon stage. 6th after getting the better of RENAUDIN, LEBLANC continues his season with regularity ahead of Corentin PEROLARI (Yamaha Moto Ain – Pirelli) who climbs to the top step of the Challenger category within which he confirms his clear domination.

After a magnificent battle for 9th place, the oldest David MUSCAT (Ducati – Pirelli) dominates Killian AEBI (Suzuki LMS – Pirelli), one of the youngest. The latter still achieved his first top 10 in the premier category, synonymous with P2 in Challenger. The podium in the young rider category is completed by Léo CHALLAMEL (Yamaha – Pirelli), 12th overall.

SUPERSPORT 600

QUALIFICATION: GIMBERT POLEMAN LOGIQUE

After flying through free practice, Johan GIMBERT (Yamaha – Pirelli) immediately took the lead, in 1'45”781, which he maintained for many minutes... Strong men at the start of the season, Kevin LONGEARET (Yamaha – Pirelli) and Enzo De La VEGA (Yamaha – Pirelli) battle against the clock to try to get closer to the time of the Yamaha n°77. Hugo De CANCELLIS (Yamaha – Pirelli) and Bartholomé PERRIN (Yamaha – Michelin), the most prominent Challenger, are also threatening and seem capable of playing the front row.

Finally, GIMBERT will never be worried, the reigning Challenger Champion even improves his mark on his 9th lap and takes pole position in 1'44”597. In his final attempt, De CANCELLIS emerged in second place with a time of 1'45''424, relegating DE LA VEGA to 3rd place on the starting grid in 1'45''806.

On the second row, we will find the young PERRIN, also author of his best time, 1'46”184, in the final moments. For the Championship leader, the last two laps were not successful, LONGEARET finished 5th in 1'46”254. With experience, Matthieu LUSSIANA (Yamaha – Michelin) improves at the checkered flag and completes the 2nd row of the starting grid in 1'46''267.

Thanks to his 4th place overall, Bartholomé PERRIN is the “poleman” of the Challenger category, far ahead of Diego PONCET (Kawasaki – Pirelli) and Alexy NEGRIER (Yamaha -Pirelli) who nevertheless join the 3rd row, respectively 8th in 1'48 ''336 and 9th in 1'48''446.

RACE 1: PERRIN ON THE WIRE FACING AN IMPRESSIVE LUSSIANA!

The start of the race is particularly eventful in Supersport 600. The positions are largely reshuffled from the 1st lap following the falls of Kevin LONGEARET (Yamaha – Pirelli), and Matthieu LUSSIANA (Yamaha – Michelin), then of the poleman and favorite Johan GIMBERT (Yamaha –Pirelli). Others took advantage of it, such as Bartholomé PERRIN (Yamaha – Michelin) who took control of the race. He is followed by Enzo DE LA VEGA (Yamaha – Pirelli) and the three Challengers Alexy NEGRIER (Yamaha – Pirelli), Gabin CAZARD (Yamaha – Pirelli) and Florent Da CUNHA (TRC – Pirelli).

After 5 laps, while PERRIN impressed and took off, CAZARD occupied 2nd place ahead of De La VEGA, Da CUNHA and NEGRIER. At the same time, we observe the meteoric rise of Matthieu GREGORIO (Yamaha – Pirelli). Starting from the back of the grid, the Gardois is already at the gates of the top 5 and puts pressure on the quartet. In the same state of mind, LUSSIANA is the fastest man in the race, starting last after his fall, the Moto Team 95 rider is already in 10th place after 7 laps, an example of combativeness!

At mid-race, PERRIN managed the proceedings, still in a leading position, while we observed a consistent performance within the peloton. After successively getting the better of NEGRIER, Da CUNHA, De Le VEGA and CAZARD, GREGORIO took 2nd place. Long 7th, Hugo De CANCELLIS (Yamaha – Pirelli) is also back in the fight for the podium. But for all these pilots, the real threat is called LUSSIANA. At a pace that is still impressive, the latter takes 3rd place, in GREGORIO's wheel, 4 laps from the finish.

At the very end of the race, PERRIN loses pace while LUSSIANA, after getting the better of GREGORIO, goes back like a rocket towards the leader. Despite the final attack from the Yamaha n°95, PERRIN wins the photo finish! This is its very first in the category. Author of a race which will remain in the memories, LUSSIANA therefore signs a magnificent 2nd place in front of GREGORIO, 3rd, who regains his strength. NEGRIER also signs his best performance in Supersport 600 by taking 4th place in front of DE CANCELLIS who closes the top 5. 6th, Gabin CAZARD is ultimately not worried by the good end of the race of Loïc ARBEL (Yamaha – Pirelli) who finishes 7th place from which he had launched. De La VEGA and Da CUNHA finished in 8th and 9th place.

In Challenger, PERRIN therefore won ahead of NEGRIER, 2nd, and CAZARD, 3rd, in the category.

RACE 2: GIMBERT CATCHES UP

Revengeful after his heavy fall in race 1, pole sitter Johan GIMBERT (Yamaha – Pirelli) once again sets off in the best possible way. This time, everything is going well for Matthieu LUSSIANA (Yamaha – Michelin) who controls his start and pushes to stay in contact with the leader while distancing the peloton.

After 4 laps, Matthieu LUSSIANA is closing in on Johan GIMBERT, still leader, while Loïc ARBEL (Yamaha – Pirelli), who started 7th, made some great overtakes to take 3rd position, less than 3 seconds from the race lead. Behind him, Enzo De La VEGA (Yamaha – Pirelli) is 4th and makes his effort to try to get closer while Bartholomé PERRIN (Yamaha – Michelin), is already threatened by Matthieu GREGORIO (Yamaha – Pirelli), who started from the back Grid.

In the middle of the race, it was ARBEL in great form who joined the duo GIMBERT – LUSSIANA to also play a key role in the quest for victory. DE LA VEGA does not seem able to catch up with the leaders. For his part, Bartholomé PERRIN is not as efficient as in race 1 and sees the Yamaha of Hugo DE CANCELLIS (Yamaha – Pirelli) and Matthieu GREGORIO come back dangerously.

In the last laps, GIMBERT increases the pace to protect himself from LUSSIANA and secures the victory after having let many points slip away in race 1. For LUSSIANA it is a new 2nd place in front of ARBEL who is back on the podium after a long period punctuated by injuries. At the foot of the box, the Nogaro public finds the Yamaha of De La VEGA preceding that of PERRIN, 5th and victorious in the Challenger category. After an impressive end to the race, Hugo ROBERT (Yamaha – Pirelli) surprised Matthieu GREGORIO and Hugo DE CANCELLIS, whom he relegated to 7th and 8th places.

Among the youngest riders in the category, Bartholomé PERRIN won ahead of Alexy NEGRIER (Yamaha-Pirelli), 10th overall and Gabin CAZARD (Yamaha – Pirelli), 11th.

GRAND-PRICE OBJECTIVE

PRE-MOTO 3

QUALIFICATION: GODEFROY ASSUMES LEADERSHIP

Provisional leader of the general classification, Quentin GODEFROY (Erdog – Bridgestone) takes the lead in the first minutes. Axel Da SILVA (BÉON – Bridgestone) also stands out while David DA COSTA (BÉON – Bridgestone) and Célestin MASY (BÉON – Bridgestone) seem less comfortable on this drying Nogaro track. As the minutes pass, the trend is confirmed and GODEFROY takes pole position in 1'44”800 ahead of DA SILVA, in 1'45”074, and MASY, in 1'45”760, who complete the first row in this order. More than three seconds behind the poleman, Da COSTA is 4th in this qualifying session in 1'48''075.

RACE 1: MASY IN FRONT OF Da COSTA

Pole sitter Quentin GODEFROY (Erdog – Bridgestone) made a successful start as did Célestin MASY (BÉON – Bridgestone) who stayed on his wheel during the first laps. David Da COSTA (BÉON – Bridgestone) is also in an interesting rhythm in 3rd row and is trying to keep the leaders within reach.

As the laps go by, these three boys form a homogeneous trio and compete for the lead of the race. After 6 laps, in order, we find Da COSTA leading ahead of MASY and GODEFROY, who is struggling to stay in contact with his two adversaries.

At the checkered flag, MASY took the advantage over DA COSTA and won by less than half a second. Never worried by Henri MIGNOT (BÉON – Bridgestone), 4th a few lengths away, Quentin GODEFROY completes the podium.

RACE 2: CUTE LIKE A BIG PEOPLE

Starting from the 4th row of the starting grid, David Da COSTA (BÉON – Bridgestone) worked to take the lead of the race and found himself leader at the end of the 1st lap ahead of Henri MIGNOT. Célestin MASY (BÉON – Bridgestone) is lying in wait in 3rd row. Pole sitter Quentin GODEFROY (Erdog – Bridgestone) is relegated to 4th place.

At mid-race, the red flag was waved, following the fall of Nathan DELAUNAY (KTM) at turn 4, the race was therefore interrupted.

After the second start, MIGNOT steals the leading position from DA COSTA who makes his effort to stay in contact. Just behind, GODEFROY returns to 3rd at the expense of MASY.

5 laps later, MIGNOT resisted the last assault from DA COSTA, 2nd, to win his first victory in the category. After overtaking, BOXBERGER took advantage of MASY's error to take off and climb onto the box. MASY falls in the ranking and only crosses the line in 7th place.

NSF250

QUALIFICATION: BOXBERGER ON POLE ALONGSIDE HIS RIVALS

At the start of the session, the reigning Champion, Jules BERCOT (Honda – Bridgestone) immediately placed himself at the top of the timesheet. However, he was quickly imitated by his main rivals Evan BOXBERGER (Honda – Bridgestone) and Enzo DAHMANI (Honda – Bridgestone) determined to seize pole, provisionally held by the driver of the No. 1 machine. On a drying track, the young drivers adapted well to the conditions, and at the end of the session it was BOXBERGER who set the best time, 1'43''948, and had the right to start from pole position for the two races of the weekend. BERCOT then retained 2nd place in 1'44''369, and DAHMANI completed the first row in 1'45''182.

RACE 1: BOXBERGER CONFIRMED

Despite the good start of Jules BERCOT (Honda – Bridgestone), pole sitter Evan BOXBERGER (Honda – Bridgestone) managed to quickly regain the advantage to finish the first lap in the lead. Also author of a good start Livio MIRABEL (Honda – Bridgestone) appears in 3rd place ahead of Enzo DAHMANI (Honda – Bridgestone).

In line with the performance achieved in qualifying, BOXBERGER takes his ease and keeps company with DAHMANI, 2nd, who himself distances BERCOT and MIRABEL.

Few movements in this race, on the finish line it is BOXBERGER who wins, more than 10 seconds ahead of DAHMANI, 2nd, while BERCOT manages to keep 3rd place despite the MIRABEL threat present until the last laps .

RACE 2: BOXBERGER SOLID LEADER

Evan BOXBERGER (Honda – Bridgestone) once again got the best start and quickly managed to outdistance his main competitors Jules BERCOT (Honda – Bridgestone), 2nd, and Enzo DAHMANI (Honda – Bridgestone), 3rd.

Halfway through the race, the red flag was waved following the fall of a rider in the Pre-Moto 3 category at turn 4, the race was therefore interrupted.

The young drivers then leave for 5 laps. BOXBERGER secures the victory while BERCOT and DAHMANI cross the line neck and neck. And it was finally at the photo finish that DAHMANI took 2nd place, under the nose and beard of BERCOT who climbed to the last step of the podium.

TEMPORARY SITUATION:

SUPERSPORT 300

QUALIFICATION: BABY ON POLE, LEADERS IN DRAW

Under a fine Gers rain and on a tricky track, Julie RITAINE (Kawasaki – Pirelli) and Justine PEDEMONTE (Yamaha – Pirelli) are at the forefront at the start of the session. The favorites for the Championship, Oreste BAZE (Kawasaki – Pirelli) and Cyprien BABY (Yamaha – Pirelli) take the time to get into the rhythm and in turn place themselves at the top of the timesheet after a few attempts.

Finally, BABY improved his time again and took pole position in 1'54''747. 4th for a long time, Rodrigo Felipe NUNO MENDES (Kawasaki – Pirelli) moved up, at the very end of the session, to 2nd place in this qualification in 1'55''047. He precedes Djefferson DELBOSC (Kawasaki – Pirelli) and his time of 1'55''350 places him 3rd narrowly ahead of Oreste BAZE, unable to improve at the end of the session and therefore 4th in 1'55''351.

Great performance for Justine PEDEMONTE, who will start in 5th position thanks to her time of 1'55''579, ahead of Championship leader Ryan CHAUVEAU (Kawasaki – Pirelli), 6th in 1'56''802. His runner-up, RITAINE is only 15th, still with his time at the start of the session: 1'58''297.

RACE 1: BABY WITHOUT COMPETITION

Pole sitter Cyprien BABY (Yamaha – Pirelli) made a perfect start, along with Oreste BAZE (Kawasaki – Pirelli) and Justine PEDEMONTE (Yamaha – Pirelli), 2nd and 3rd at the end of the straight line of the airfield. D'Jefferson DELBOSC (Kawasaki – Pirelli) is 4th ahead of Rodrigo Felipe NUNES MENDES (Kawasaki – Pirelli), 5th after a tricky start from the first row and a few lost places. At the end of the 1st lap, Oreste BAZE (Kawasaki – Pirelli) was forced to enter the pits and retire.

On this fresh track, BABY is more comfortable than his opponents and quickly distances himself with more than 5 seconds in advance, after only 4 laps. Despite this gap, her first pursuer, Justine PEDEMONTE, sets an interesting pace which Ryan CHAUVEAU (Kawasaki – Pirelli) and Rodrigo Felipe NUNES MENDES (Kawasaki – Pirelli) also set behind her. For his part, D'Jefferson DELBOSC lost ground, having to fight with ROSSIGNOL (Kawasaki – Pirelli) and Gaëtan PRUNIER (Kawasaki – Pirelli) for 5th place.

In the laps that followed, while BABY took the lead, behind him the two trios continued their respective battles.

At the finish, BABY completes his solo rider by claiming victory. For his part, PEDEMONTE showed himself to be authoritarian and narrowly won 2nd place ahead of Championship leader CHAUVEAU, 3rd, and NUNES MENDES was then at the foot of the podium. The fight for the top 5 turns to the advantage of ROSSIGNOL who is ahead of DELBOSC, 6th, and PRUNIER, 7th.

RACE 2: BABY DEFINITELY TOO STRONG

As in race 1, Cyprien BABY (Yamaha – Pirelli) is the quickest to start ahead of Oreste BAZE (Kawasaki – Pirelli) and Justine PEDEMONTE (Yamaha – Pirelli) who immediately chase the leader. The rider of the #75 Kawasaki Rodrigo Felipe NUNES MENDES (Kawasaki – Pirelli) is 4th after a more delicate start.

Halfway through the race, Cyprien BABY once again takes off ahead of his pursuers. A group of 6 drivers is formed and the battle for 2nd and 3rd places rages on. Killian ROSSIGNOL (Kawasaki – Pirelli) and Oreste BAZE are wheel to wheel, a few meters in front of Rodrigo Felipe NUNES MENDES, Ryan CHAUVEAU (Kawasaki – Pirelli), Justine PEDEMONTE and D'Jefferson DELBOSC (Kawasaki – Pirelli).

During the last 6 laps, while BABY prances in the lead, the larger group of pursuers puts on a show with multiple successive overtakes.

As they crossed the finish line, it was a big success for BABY who won the double race 1 and race 2 in Nogaro. In the fight for the podium, ROSSIGNOL dominates its 5 opponents and takes the points for 2nd place while CHAUVEAU climbs back onto the box at the expense of NUNES MENDES, 4th. DELBOSC and PEDEMONTE finished in 5th and 6th positions less than a second behind. Due to a decreasing pace in the last laps, BAZE finished a distant 7th place.

TEMPORARY SITUATION:

MOTO 4 / MOTO 5

QUALIFICATION: SHEPHERD ON POLE FOR 0''055 IN FRONT OF FRANÇOIS

At the start of Saturday afternoon, Gabriel PIO (BÉON – Bridgestone) is the first to record a time under 1'55. He is provisionally the fastest Moto 4 with a lap time of 1'54”715. In the minutes that followed, the battle for pole began between Gabriel PIO, Florian FRANÇOIS (BÉON – Bridgestone) and Matteo BERGER (BÉON – Bridgestone). The latter ultimately proved to be the fastest with a best lap of 1'49”764, only 5 hundredths ahead of FRANÇOIS, in 1'49”819. PIO will have to settle for 3rd place on the starting grid in 1'50”886, despite a very good start to the session.

As for Moto 5, Teddy QUENEHEN (Erdog -Bridgestone) took the best lap in 1'57”796, followed by Romeo MONEYRON (Fulgur – Bridgestone) in 1'57”862 and Eliott CARVALLHO (Fulgur – Bridgestone) in 2’06”600.

RACE 1: FRANÇOIS AT THE END OF THE END

Despite the holeshot of Gabriel PIO (BÉON – Bridgestone), Florian FRANÇOIS (BÉON – Bridgestone) and Matteo BERGER (BÉON – Bridgestone) quickly regained the advantage and broke away from the rest of the peloton. PIO still tries to stay in contact with the duo but finds himself isolated in 3rd place after a few laps.

Throughout the race, the very young leaders battle and put on a show. At the end of the 12 laps of the race, it was finally FRANÇOIS who won by less than 3 tenths of a second ahead of BERGER. At the end of a race led alone, almost from start to finish, PIO climbed onto the third step of the podium.

In moto 5, Romeo MONEYRON (Fulgur – Bridgestone) won and was ahead of Teddy QUENEHEN (Erdog -Bridgestone), while Eliott CARVALHO (Fulgur – Bridgestone) was downgraded by the race management.

RACE 2: PIO IN FRONT OF SHEPHERD

Gabriel PIO (BÉON – Bridgestone) once again succeeds in taking off and takes the lead ahead of Mattéo BERGER (BÉON – Bridgestone) and Florian FRANÇOIS (BÉON – Bridgestone) second and 3rd respectively.

The #11 BÉON of Gabriel PIO leads the way for most of the race but sees BERGER pounce on him in the very last laps. For his part, Florian FRANÇOIS observes this battle from his 3rd place.

At the finish, it was on the line that PIO won ahead of BERGER, 2nd, and FRANÇOIS, 3rd.

In Moto 5, no change, Romeo MONEYRON (Fulgur – Bridgestone) converted his pole position into victory ahead of Teddy QUENEHEN (Erdog -Bridgestone), 2nd, and Eliott CARVALHO (Fulgur – Bridgestone), 3rd.

TEMPORARY SITUATION:

SIDECAR

RACE 1: PAYNE / ROUSSEAU HIGH HAND

At the start, LEGLISE / DRUEL (F600) got the better of the pole sitter and big favorite PAYNE / ROUSSEAU (F600). The order of things returns and side n°45 takes the lead at the end of the first lap when LEGLISE / DRUEL is forced to return to the box. PEUGEOT / PEUGEOT (F1) then inherited second place which it consolidated lap after by taking shelter from the pursuers. In 600rd position, behind it is WYSSEN / SALMON who we find just in front of PALCOEUR / CESCUTTI firmly clinging to their place of 3th place and 4st in the F1 category. Meanwhile, the leader PAYNE / ROUSSEAU distances himself from the rest of the peloton.

With 3 laps remaining, PAYNE / ROUSSEAU no longer seems to be able to be worried and races towards victory, more than 10 seconds ahead of PEUGEOT / PEUGEOT. Behind, the positions are stabilizing as the gaps widen.

At the finish, PAYNE / ROUSSEAU won his second race of the season hands down, followed at a distance by PEUGEOT / PEUGEOT who must have regrets at not having been able to fight for victory. In 3rd place WISSEN / SALMON completes the podium of this first of a weekend which will include three for the sidecar drivers. PALCOEUR / CESCUTTI, best in the F2 category, finished at the foot of the box, ahead of BOUCHER / BOUCHER 5th and LE BAIL / LE VEAU, 6th.

In F2, far behind PALACOEUR / CESCUTTI, BERGEON / COLOMBIN took 9th place overall and GILARD / ECORCHARD finished just outside the top 10.

RACE 2 : PEUGEOT / PEUGEOT OPPORTUN

The sidecar sprint race format launches hostilities this Sunday morning. The PAYNE / ROUSSEAU duo, victorious in race 1, is unable to start this morning. Its main competitor PEUGEOT / PEUGEOT then 1st, or even WYSSEN / SALMON and BOUCHER / BOUCHER, 2nd and 3rd after 2 laps, took advantage of this to settle at the forefront.

The gaps on the table are smaller than in race 1 but one duo particularly stands out, that of the PEUGEOT clan which strings together fast laps and consolidates its leadership position to finally win with more than 5 seconds ahead of its first pursuer. The following positions also remain unchanged until the end of the 7 laps of the race, WYSSEN / SALMON, 2nd, and BOUCHER / BOUCHER, 3rd, climb on the box of this sprint race. After experiencing difficulties in race 1, LEGLISE / DRUEL reacted and finished just off the podium in front of VINET / PIRAT who closed the top 5.

The F2 category sees GILARD / ECORCHARD win with its 7th overall ahead of PALACOEUR / CESCUTTI, 8th and BERGEON / COLOMBIN, 9th.

RACE 3: RETURN TO THE CONTROLS OF PAYNE / ROUSSEAU

For this sidecar race 2, the start is delayed since the rain returns above the track. So, the crews change tires and off we go for 14 laps of racing. It is now a habit, PAYNE / ROUSSEAU starts from pole position, maintains the advantage and is already ahead of WYSSEN / SALMON by more than 4 seconds, pursuing the closest after 3 laps. The sidecar n°33 of LEGLISE / DRUEL, 3rd, is also left behind. Highly visible during the morning sprint race, PEUGEOT / PEUGEOT was less comfortable at the start of the afternoon and quickly found itself in 4th position.

No changes in position at mid-race, PAYNE / ROUSSEAU has a comfortable lead of 12 seconds over WYSSEN / SALMON, himself 4 seconds ahead of LEGLISE / DRUEL, 3rd. We only find an F2 in 10th position, that of GILARD / ECORCHARD.

Crossing the line, the ranking remains unchanged, PAYNE / ROUSSEAU wins for the second time this weekend ahead of WYSSEN / SALMON and LEGLISE / DRUEL who move up to the box. Regarding the F2 category: GILARD / ECORCHARD ranks 10th, ahead of PALACOEUR / CESCUTTI 11th and BERGEON / COLOMBIN 12th, these three crews therefore make up the podium in the short chassis category.
