After a rainy and stormy night, the sun timidly returned to its place above the Pau-Arnos circuit. The paddock had to deal with a track declared “wet” at the very beginning of the morning to finally evolve on a “dry” track. Between twists and turns and confirmations, there was no shortage of spectacle for this 5th stage of the Championship led by the Moto-Club Pau-Arnos team and the FFM.

RACE 1: GUARNONI RESISTS UNDER PRESSURE FROM FORAY
The tension is at its height on the starting grid and the three strong men of the Championship are placed directly at the front with Jérémy GUARNONI (Kawasaki Tech Solutions) in the lead ahead of Kenny FORAY (BMW Tecmas) and Morgan BERCHET (Yamaha) . The race started at a high pace like FORAY who shattered the FSBK lap record, which he had held since last year, on the third lap in 1'16''859.
After an average flight, Axel MAURIN (Yamaha) made the effort in the first laps and managed to return to 4th rank ahead of Sébastien SUCHET (Kawasaki), Louis ROSSI (Suzuki LMS) and Erwan NIGON (Honda).
In front, no one is able to follow GUARNONI and FORAY who are prance in the lead several seconds behind MAURIN, 3th, which is used after having carried out a successful attack on BERCHET at mid-race. The Yamaha n°63 is joined by SUCHET, NIGON and ROSSI, the 4 riders form a compact group whose hierarchy is shifting.
Very close to its biggest rival, FORAY was not able to attack the #111 Kawasaki, which won a sixth victory this season. Author of a very good performance, MAURIN was rewarded for his efforts and reached his first podium of the season. Behind, the places were exchanged but SUCHET was able to contain the attacks of his pursuers to finish 4thin front of a valiant ROSSI who enters the top 5 to the detriment of NIGON, 6th. Bad operation on the other hand for BERCHET who finished in 7th instead.
In Superbike Challenger, overwhelming victory for a remarkable Hugo CLERE (Suzuki LMS), 8th of the scratch ranking. Maxime BONNOT (BMW Tecmas) takes the second step of the podium and Jonathan HUGOT (Yamaha) completes the top 3.
RACE 2: GUARNONI BACK FOR ANOTHER DOUBLE
Jérémy GUARNONI (Kawasaki Tech Solutions), Kenny FORAY (BMW Tecmas) and Morgan BERCHET (Yamaha), here is the list of the top 3 who complete the first lap in the lead. Excellent start from Louis ROSSI (Suzuki LMS) who is positioned in 4th rank just ahead of Sébastien SUCHET (Kawasaki) and Axel MAURIN (Yamaha).
Above the rest, the two leaders engage in an exceptional “mano a mano” which does not fail to attract the attention of the public. Installed at 3th place, BERCHET seems well on his way to getting on the podium but watch out for MAURIN, back in his wheel to the detriment of ROSSI, 5th, and SUCHET, 6th, who suffered the wrath of the Yamaha n°89. Shortly after mid-race, the expected overtaking took place, MAURIN, faster, relegated BERCHET to the foot of the podium.
At the head of the race, FORAY never let GUARNONI slip away but the latter drove home the point in the last lap to take a superb double. For the places of honor, the differences are tiny but the positions are fixed. The third step of the podium is to the credit of MAURIN. The 4th, 5th and 6th places are allocated in order to BERCHET, ROSSI and SUCHET.
In the provisional ranking, Jérémy GUARNONI (247 points) takes 10 points from Kenny FORAY (221 points) in the Pyrenees. Sébastien SUCHET (112 points) is third.
In Superbike Challenger, Hugo CLERE (221 points) leads the way ahead of Gabriel PONS (169 points) and Maxime BONNOT (162 points).
SUPERSPORT – PIRELLI 600 TROPHY
RACE 1: DESERVED SUCCESS FOR BAU
The front wheel lifts a little for Enzo BOULOM (Yamaha) at the start, Guillaume RAYMOND (Yamaha) takes the opportunity to take the lead in the first chicane but the pleasure is short-lived. BOULOM (Yamaha) immediately takes over the leadership and Guillaume ANTIGA (Yamaha) climbs to second place in front of RAYMOND. The leading trio quickly takes off.
Behind, those who put themselves forward during qualifying are present, Louis BULLE (Yamaha) takes on his wheel a Maximilien BAU (Yamaha), in shape and ready to do battle. The two men quickly outdistance Guillaume POT (Yamaha) who is struggling to keep up with the pace.
The battle within the leading trio allows BULLE and BAU to get back into contact, it is now a group of 5 drivers who are putting on the show in the Supersport category. At the halfway point, less than a second separates the leading men.
At the end of the suspense, BAU won its first victory of the season just ahead of BOULOM. The two men managed to increase the pace at the end of the race to protect themselves from an enterprising BULLE who returned to the podium. The top 5 is completed by RAYMOND and ANTIGA. Isolated during the entire race, POT finished 6th.
In the Pirelli 600 Trophy, Joris INGIULLA (Yamaha) added another victory to his record after dominating the category. Dylan MILLE (Yamaha) finished second after getting the better of Gaëtan MATERN (Kawasaki), 3th.
RACE 2: FIRST TIME AND FIRST PLACE FOR RAYMOND
The first pass on the timing line sees Guillaume RAYMOND (Yamaha) in the lead ahead of Enzo BOULOM (Yamaha) and Louis BULLE (Yamaha) who started from 6th place on the rack.
The #3 Yamaha of “Loulou” is closely followed by Maximilien BAU (Yamaha) and Guillaume ANTIGA (Yamaha). For its part, POT settles in 6th position without having the weapons necessary to stay in contact with the leaders.
RAYMOND is faster than in the morning and manages to make the difference to break away from the peloton. For its part, BAU returns like a “cannonball” to second place after finding the opening on BOULOM, 3th, and BUBBLE, 4th. The 3 men are literally wheel in wheel.
A dramatic turn of events 2 laps from the checkered flag, the Championship leader, BOULOM, fell and caused a red flag to come out which stopped the proceedings. RAYMOND thus pockets the 25 points for victory and continues its good momentum. BAU, for its part, had a magnificent weekend crowned by a second place in this second debate where BULLE completed the winning trio for its second podium of the day. After a regular race, ANTIGA is 4th and POT, 5th. BOULOM unfortunately finds himself out of ranking following his fall.
On the Pirelli 600 Trophy side, Gaëtan MATERN placed first on the handlebars of his Kawasaki n°70 to the detriment of Dylan MILLE (Yamaha), stripped of his first place after a 10-second penalty was awarded to him. Antoine CHAPEAU (Triumph) completes the podium.
Enzo BOULOM (180 points) lost big in the Pyrenees but he is still at the top of the provisional ranking ahead of Louis BULLE (147 points) and Guillaume ANTIGA (141 points).
In the Pirelli 600 Trophy, Gaëtan MATERN (175 points) remains in the provisional lead. Dylan MILLE (139 points) is second and Joris INGIULLA (134 points) third.
GRAND PRIX OBJECTIVE – PRE MOTO3
RACE 1: OPPORTUNISTIC PUDDING
The start is given under the direction of an authoritarian Clément ROUGÉ (Moriwaki) who immediately takes charge of the race. The tests had given an idea of the scenario and it is Alexis BOUDIN (Yamaha Beon), Marceau LAPIERRE (Yamaha Beon) and Bartholomé PERRIN (Moriwaki) who find themselves fighting for second place. The surprise comes from Lorenz LUCIANO (Yamaha Beon) who sets the pace and takes up the suction behind PERRIN.
Dramatic twist with 4 laps to go: ROUGÉ seems to have a mechanical problem and leaves the field open to his competitors for victory, everything remains to be done. BOUDIN, completely in control, mastered his race and won by a few tenths ahead of LAPIERRE. The last step of the podium is to the credit of LUCIANO who caused a sensation during this first race. PERRIN marks time in the last minutes and finishes at the foot of the podium.
RACE 2: ROUGE DOES NOT GIVE DETAILS
Clément ROUGÉ (Moriwaki) takes advantage of his pole position and maintains his leadership position. More than a second faster per lap, the CEV pilot quickly disappears from the field of vision of Marceau LAPIERRE (Yamaha Beon), Bartholomé PERRIN (Moriwaki), Alexis BOUDIN (Yamaha) and LUCIANO (Yamaha Beon) who are less of half a second.
Fast, concentrated and diligent, there are many adjectives to describe ROUGÉ's implacable attitude, which marks a superb victory without possible dispute. 4 drivers behind for only 2 places on the podium, the drivers know it, everything is allowed to grab the podium.
At the end of a Dantesque contest, the pleasure of the podium goes to LAPIERRE, 2nd, and BOUDIN, 3rd. The two men were able to do well and jostle to dominate PERRIN, 4th, who suffered somewhat at the end of the race. Unfortunately, LUCIANO made a mistake 4 laps from the checkered flag without being able to finish the race.
In the provisional ranking, Alexis BOUDIN totals 190 points and remains in control of the category. Marceau LAPIERRE (182 points) and Bartholomé PERRIN (146 points) are respectively 2th and 3th.
SIDECAR
RACE 2: THE LEASE / TITLED LEVEAU
Once is not customary, VINET / VINET got the best out of the starting grid but the reigning French Champion, DELANNOY / ROUSSEAU, took back the reins after 3 laps of the race and increased the pace to gain momentum. air.
Clearly, the 600cc are at ease on the Pau-Arnos circuit despite the significant relief of the track. LE BAIL / LEVEAU manages to keep up with VINET / VINET and seems to observe the trajectories of the Side led by the family duo. CARRE / DUPUIS evolves in 4th position, far in front of the pair AZZOPARDI / FENOY CASAS then 5th.
Impeccable mastery for DELANNOY / ROUSSEAU who wins and achieves the double in the South-West in front of VINET / VINET. The “3 wheels” n°29 can be satisfied with its good weekend after having contained the attacks of the duo LE BAIL / LEVEAU, 3th. Very consistent, the CARRE / DUPUIS pair finished at the foot of the podium while LEGUEN / GAULARD took advantage of the setbacks of the AZZOPARDI / FENOY CASAS crew to complete the top 5.
In 600cc, with this new performance, LE BAIL / LEVEAU wins the title of French Champion and continues its grand slam. CARRE / DUPUIS and LEGUEN / GAULARD come to settle respectively on the 2th and the 3th step of the podium.
