After hosting Promosport, the Moto Club Pau-Arnos (64), supervised by the FFM, is ready to receive the best riders in the discipline on July 14 and 15. The temperature should rise a notch in the middle of July, engines and drivers will thrill the public in the Pyrenees to try to leave with a bag full of trophies...

SUPERBIKE: FORAY AND GUARNONI ALONE IN THE WORLD

What suspense offered by Kenny FORAY (BMW Tecmas) and Jérémy GUARNONI (Kawasaki Tech Solutions)! Both men give 100% to decide between them. After a first part of the season entirely dominated by the #111 Kawasaki, the 2017 French Champion reverses the trend at the start of this second part of the season to the delight of the public: come what may in Pau-Arnos!

Morgan BERCHET (Yamaha) or Sébastien SUCHET (Kawasaki) for third place? The first is faster but his enthusiasm sometimes causes him harm while SUCHET, more regular, could well win.

Behind, places are expensive, Axel MAURIN (Yamaha) and David MUSCAT (Ducati) are still in the race for the podium, the hope of getting into the top 3 is still alive. There is no doubt that they will do everything for it, but pay attention to the enthusiasm and frenzy of the Superbike Challenger riders, Hugo CLERE (Suzuki LMS) and Gabriel PONS (Kawasaki TTS) who both regularly take part in the debates.

In Superbike Challenger, Hugo CLERE and Gabriel PONS dream of a very first title “among the big guys” just like Maxime BONNOT (BMW Tecmas), full of confidence following his double at Magny-Cours.

SUPERSPORT – PIRELLI 600 TROPHY: BOULOM KEEP THE ADVANTAGE

Despite a lackluster final stage where Enzo BOULOM (Yamaha) never found his feet, the rider from Aisne should find a more “technical” route, favorable to his riding style in the Pyrenees.

For his part, Louis BULLE (Yamaha) is ready to chase the top positions to try to get closer to the title, a goal he has been close to for many years. The Savoyard rider is however not the only one capable of triumphing, against him, Guillaume ANTIGA (Yamaha) confirms race after race that he is able to play the leading roles. After 2 brilliant performances in Nièvre, will his namesake, Guillaume RAYMOND (Yamaha) be able to achieve an equally convincing performance in Pau-Arnos?

For Cédric TANGRE, the season seems complicated, can the reigning French Champion bounce back in the second part of the season? Conversely, Maximilien BAU (Yamaha) shines at the forefront after a rather discreet start to the season, what does he have in store for the future? Everything suggests that the conclusion will be positive…

Deprived of the 50 possible points at Magny-Cours in the Pirelli 600 Trophy category, Gaëtan MATERN (Kawasaki) sees Valentin GRIMOUX (Yamaha) and Joris INGIULLA (Yamaha) come back sharply! The leader must be careful and the paddock knows perfectly well that a Championship is never over until the last checkered flag.

GRAND PRIX OBJECTIVE – PRE MOTO3: BOUDIN ASSURED

Young in age but experienced in his riding, Alexis BOUDIN (Yamaha Beon) seems to have taken the full measure of what the investment of a full season represents. Performing punctually and regularly the rest of the time, BOUDIN secures the points and finds itself leader of the ranking for the moment.

The title, all the young people are chasing in order to add a little more to their young prize list. Marceau LAPIERRE (Yamaha Beon), Bartholomé PERRIN (Moriwaki) and the young woman, Line VIEILLARD (Yamaha), are no exception to the rule. However, they will have to deal with the stage local, Charles AUBRIE (Yamaha Over), who is one of the headliners for this atypical stage with a hilly route.

SIDE-CAR: DELANNOY / ROUSSEAU SOLIDE LEADER

Who other than DELANNOY / ROUSSEAU to dominate this 3-wheel category? The leading duo is still as motivated as ever to take on the French circuits by making technical and mechanical progress, a story of passion...

The crews MOREAU / ARIFON, VINET / VINET or even GALLERNE / CHAIGNEAU try as best they can to put a spoke in the wheels of Side n°1 but nothing is obvious especially since the pair LE BAIL / LEVEAU comes to shake up the 1000cc within its “small” 600cc.

In the 600cc category, LE BAIL / LEVEAU is in charge and has had an ideal season so far. The 2thand 3thThe podium steps are hotly contested and for the moment it is CARRE / DUPUIS and LEBLOND / COUILLARD who are doing well but the challengers will try to block them in the very hilly turns of the Pau-Arnos circuit...
