The former Italian team manager and current driver manager returned for gpone on the German Grand Prix, and on the few errors noted among the different manufacturers during this first half of the season.

“This time I'm going against the grain, talking about the mistakes. The first is that of Yamaha, for not having listened to Valentino regarding the chassis. In this first part of the season we saw riders like Zarco and Folger finish ahead of the factory bikes, taking important points from them.

“The second concerns Ducati. In Germany, Bautista's 2016 bike finished ahead of Dovi. Then there is another mistake which could be the fact that they chose Lorenzo, a decision which could threaten the atmosphere in the long term.

“However, Lorenzo strengthened Dovizioso. Andrea is now the first driver and has everything he needs to be able to fight for the title.

“Honda made a bike to match Marquez, sacrificing the other riders. Long live Marc, the only driver capable of taking it with his style.

“The 2017 Suzuki project was based on an engine that had problems. Now they must focus on 2018, but it is inevitable that the drivers will struggle.

“Aprilia regrets having abandoned Bautista, preferring Sam Lowes. Alvaro could have been the ideal rider to develop the bike. »
