Tatsuki Suzuki of the Squadra Corse SIC58 took a magnificent pole position at the Misano Marco Simoncelli circuit at the “GP di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini”, where Arón Canet (Sterilgarda Max Racing Team) ranked second ahead of Tony Arbolino (Snipers VNE) on the first line.
On the second row were Jaume Masiá (WWR), Celestino Vietti (Sky Racing Team VR47) and Niccolò Antonelli (SIC58 Squadra Corse). Third were Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Leopard Racing), Albert Arenas (Sama Qatar Ángel Nieto Team) and Marcos Ramírez (Leopard Racing).
There was also a fall on the first day for Öncü, Can, sidelined by a broken collarbone during his fall in FP1 and replaced by his twin brother, Deniz.

During the Sunday morning warmup session, Toba took the advantage over Arenas, Dalla Porta, Arbolino, Sasaki and McPhee.
For the start of the race, the air temperature was 28° and that of the track 31°. The fastest to set off when the lights went out was Suzuki ahead of Arbolino, Canet Masiá and Arenas. Sasaki fell during the first lap, as did Garcia without gravity in turn 8.

Arbolino took first position ahead of Suzuki, Canet, Masiá and Arenas.

Suzuki regained the advantage, while Alonzo López fell in the second corner with a big high side. He got up a little shocked, but unharmed.

Suzuki retained first position, followed by Arbolino, Canet, and Dalla Porta. Albert Arenas fell in Turn 2 without gravity.
Tom Booth-Amos also fell, while Arón Canet experienced technical problems and retired, which could cost him the world title this year against Dalla Porta.

Vietti and Antonelli crashed together with 19 laps remaining. There were only 20 drivers left in the race.

Suzuki and Arbolino stood out slightly with a lead of 0.8 over Dalla Porta, Masiá and Migno.

Masiá moved to third and closed in on Suzuki and Arbolino, taking Dalla Porta and Migno with him. Darryn Binder fell without seriousness in Turn 1, there were only 19 drivers on the circuit.
A group of 5 leaders formed at the front halfway through the race, with Suzuki, Arbolino, Masiá, Migno and Dalla Porta.
Lorenzo Dalla Porta received a warning for exceeding the circuit limits.

The group of five leaders remained compact, with Suzuki, Arbolino, Dalla Porta, Migno and Masiá.
Arón Canet left the pits, extremely late, 8 laps behind the leaders. Then he gave up shortly after. Riccardo Rossi took the “long lap penalty” for having exceeded the limits of the circuit.

With 9 laps remaining, Suzuki opened up a gap of 0.5 over Dalla Porta, Masiá, Arbolino, Ogura and Migno.
A group of 6 competed for victory with 6 laps remaining, made up of Suzuki, Masiá, Arbolino, Ogura, Migno and Dalla Porta.

Suzuki and Masiá were slightly behind their pursuers. Masiá took command 5 laps from the checkered flag. McPhee mingled with the lead group.

The Brazilian Meikon Kawakami fell without seriousness. Kazuki Masaki also fell, without serious consequences.
There were seven of them with 3 laps to go: Masiá, Arbolino, Suzuki, Ogura, Migno, McPhee and Dalla Porta.
Arbolino took the lead, then Suzuki passed back in front. Suzuki was well in control in the lead, while Migno crashed on the last lap causing Ogura to fall.
Suzuki finally won for Paolo Simoncelli's SIC58 Squadra Corse, ahead of McPhee, Arbolino, Masiá and Dalla Porta. McPhee was second ahead of Arbolino and Masiá. Dalla Porta, penalized, was eighth.
