The Suzuki rider had an excellent first day on the German circuit, but prefers not to relax in order to do everything possible to have a good race on Sunday.

Andrea Iannone has almost continuously occupied the top of the rankings in testing sessions since the start of the season, and it is therefore quite natural that he repeated his good results in Germany. While the statistics gave Marc Márquez as the leader, he managed to be faster than him and take first place in FP1, before finishing third in FP2. These results therefore promise to bode well for the rest of the weekend.

However, after two Grands Prix things got complicated on Sunday and it was impossible for him to keep a competitive pace throughout the race. A recurring problem at Barcelona then at Assen that he would finally like to resolve.

This is why he doesn't seem all that cheerful at the end of this Friday, despite his good results: “It wasn't a bad day. We got off to a really good start this morning, and we used this afternoon to try some things. At the end we put on new tires in order to place ourselves in the top 10. We have some problems with the rear tire, like everyone else on this track, but I have a little more difficulty. Tomorrow we will try to improve this. We are fast, enough to be at the front, but it will be important to maintain this pace throughout the race. »
