The Pramac Racing driver once again had a somewhat complicated weekend, but was able to show all his talent in the race, despite a result far from his potential.

After an excellent start to the season, Jack Miller encountered more difficulties since his two blank results at Mugello and Barcelona. Although he finished tenth at Assen, he was unable to challenge for the podium again, as he had done on several occasions.

He nevertheless arrived motivated on the German track, and had a good first day, finishing seventh in FP1 and eighth in FP2. Unfortunately, Saturday was more complicated and he and his team were unable to find the right feeling with their tires. First thirteenth in FP3 then sixteenth in FP4, he did not automatically qualify for Q2 and finally finished fifth in Q1, i.e. fifteenth on the grid.

Determined to come back, he got off to a good start, but was involved in the fall of Pol Espargaró who then took down Álex Rins. The Australian driver was forced to go into the gravel and miraculously remained on his wheels. However, he lost a lot of time and went very far away.

In the end, he managed to make a good comeback to fourteenth place and score two points which are important for the Championship: “To be honest, I'm glad I managed to stay on my feet after Espargaró's crash. My race pace was good and I could have finished in the top ten. I'm still in the top 10 in the Championship and I can't wait to be in Brno to have a great race. »
