Will the two post-Misano test days have resolved the RS-GP's problems? We are already working towards 2019.

MotorLand Aragon was built near the path leading to Santiago de Compostela, the route of pilgrims who, in the Middle Ages, sought salvation. For this fourteenth MotoGP meeting, Aprilia hopes to see its problems which have recently slowed down Aleix Espargaró and Scott Redding resolved. The 2018 results are currently below expectations. There is, however, hope that the two days of testing carried out after the Misano race will be a solution for the end of the season and a good basis for development in 2019.

“Last year I was very competitive in Aragon” told Aleix Espargaro. “It will not be easy to repeat this performance, because the level of the Championship has increased enormously. We must work tirelessly to reduce the gap with the leaders. The Misano test was really important. I hope I can progress further and fight regularly in the top 10.”

For its part, Scott Redding said : “Aragon is not an easy circuit to tackle, but I like it. After the test in Misano I think I can be a little competitive again. Our objectives must, however, remain realistic: work well in preparation for the race, make the right choices and be in the points. »
