When the red lights go out, it's Franco Morbidelli, who has just proven to be the fastest in Q1, who sets off first to have a free track by benefiting from the references acquired during the first qualification.
At the end of the first round, Maverick Vinales registered the first reference in 1'48.159 in front Jack Miller, Marc Marquez, Franco Morbidelli, Fabio Quartararo and Valentino Rossi.
Jack Miller et Fabio Quartararo then successively seize leadership but Marc Márquez hits a big blow by achieving 1'47.050, more than 7 tenths faster than the French driver.
