The Australian Grand Prix pre-event press conference featured Marc Márquez, Valentino Rossi, Cal Crutchlow, Alex Rins, Jack Miller and Álvaro Bautista.
After an opus that will not make history, Cal Crutchlow was asked to ask a question to which all the other pilots will be obliged to answer.
Cal Crutchlow : “let me think, because asking the wrong question can be dangerous at this table. I'm going to ask a general question that they can't answer "I don't know" or that kind of crap. I'll ask where they think they'll end up this weekend. If they all answer correctly, MotoGP will have to give them 10 each (laughs).”
Jack Miller : “there are 24 drivers this weekend? Between 24 and 1”.
Cal Crutchlow : “we are not talking about amplitude, just a position”.
Jack Miller : “3rd, I would be happy! ".
Marc Márquez : " first ! ".
Valentino Rossi : “2nd! ".
alex rins : “I’m going to fight with Valentino for 2nd place, so 2nd”.
Alvaro Bautista : “4th”.
Thus, if we are to believe the drivers present, the first 4 places are already occupied and have not waited for the Andrea Dovizioso, Maverick Vinales and other John Zarco… nor even Cal Crutchlow himself, yet winner in 2016 and 5th last year.
So the latter tries to conclude by saying “I would say victory since no one has cited victory”.
Marc Marquez : “yes, I cited victory. So we’re going to fight (laughs).”
