For once this season, no driver really dominated the sessions more than another. There are really several who are very close and therefore able to win the race at the end of the morning: Jorge Martín, Enea Bastianini, Marco Bezzecchi and Arón Canet.

However, before entering the arena, they will have to carry out their very last free practice session in order to check all the settings of their machine and reassure themselves about their feeling. Of course, any fall will be discouraged in order not to damage the bike and lose a little confidence just before the final run. Meet for the Warm Up from 8:40 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Here are the results compared on the Barcelona circuit between 2016, 2017 and 2018.

It's not yet too hot this morning when the drivers set off for the Warm Up session. It is in fact 24 degrees in the air and 26 degrees on the track. Jorge Martín (Del Conca Gresini) is the first to enter the track, and Aron Canet (Estrella Galicia 0,0) to set the reference time in 1'50.601. Martín resumes the best time in his second lap, then is dethroned in turn by Marco Bezzecchi (PruestlGP), Albert Arenas (Angel Nieto Team Moto3), John Mcphee (CIP – Green Power) and Ayumu Sasaki (Petronas Sprinta Racing).

Halfway through the session, Nicolò Bulega (Sky Racing Team VR46) takes command in 1'49.629. The Italian really seems to have regained his morale. He is ahead Aron Canet, Jorge Martín, the rookie Alonso lopez (Estrella Galicia 0,0) and Ayumu Sasaki.

Marco Bezzecchi fall in turn 5, imitated a few moments later by Andrea Migno (Ángel Nieto Team Moto3) in turn 7. Fortunately, both get up, without injury.

In the last five minutes, Jorge Martín takes the lead in the session ahead Enea Bastianini (Leopard Racing) and therefore finished first in the session.

Note that Nicolò Antonelli (SIC58 Squadra Corse) did not have the green light from the doctors to take part in the Warm Up, following his big fall in FP3. He will therefore no longer race this weekend.
