Danilo Petrucci : “I am very happy with this 3rd place. As Marc said, unfortunately I wasn't one of the fastest this weekend. Since Friday morning, we have suffered from a lack of traction and a lack of grip. But anyway, I did my best to solve this problem, got a good start, and there I was, around 4th, 5th or 6th position. Then Lorenzo attacked me very aggressively. He was trying to overtake me. At turn 10, I was in the middle of the crash and I remember: I braked hard to stop the bike and at the same time Valentino overtook me very, very quickly. And Lorenzo too, he kept his speed in the corner. And I touched it but I don't know whose fault it was. But of course, I saw Maverick and Dovi fall and then I just thought about closing my turn. There was then Marc in front and I tried to stay with him. I think the gap was half a second and I tried to stay like that, but Marc was faster by about 3 or 4/10 tenths per lap. I struggled a lot with traction, especially when Alex and Fabio were putting pressure on me behind me. I knew Álex was fast and he tried to pass me several times, but I was able to answer him twice at the end of the straight, then at turn 2 he slipped inside and we We are very touched.
