And then, in the following days, Por Fuera was announced for a two-year lease at HRC while Iannone signed for Aprilia after Suzuki told him the end of the adventure with the GRX-RR. All without forgetting a Pedrosa which is thinking about retirement and a Yamaha factory which is still thinking about a satellite structure…

This seventh round of the calendar will therefore be observed closely. The Montmelo track is considered one of the most successful modern tracks but also one of the most difficult with this braking at turn 1 which you have to negotiate at 91 km/h while you arrive there at 340 km/h by swallowing a straight line of 1.047 meters… 4,7 km long, five left turns and eight right curves….

Last year, Pedrosa had achieved pole position, but it was Dovizioso who won the day after starting seventh. Márquez had been second, Pedrosa third and Lorenzo fourth in front Johann zarco… Place your bets !
