The last free practice session has barely ended with a sparkling Fabio Quartararo in the lead and a convincing Álex Rins in second when, already, Q1, the repechage, will be launched. There we will find the teammate of the French Petronas Yamaha, Morbidelli, who suffered a heavy fall this morning. But not only that: Nakagami, who was fast on Friday will be there, like the official Suzuki Mir or the fiery Jack Miller. But also Johann Zarco, whose performance will, as always, be closely followed.

Two drivers will leave this session to join the qualifying final. Who will be the lucky ones? Before answering this question, here is the table which recalls the facts.

26° in the air and almost 50° on the track are the conditions offered to the pilots. In 1'40.587, Miller makes the first reference. Morbidely follows at two unfortunate thousandths. Nakagami follows. But as is often the case, his performance achieved, the Australian from the Pramac team fell, and it was at turn 5. It was his eighth accident of the season.

The Japanese from the LCR Honda team clocks a 1'40.372 ahead bagnaia which reminds us that he is also a contender for Q2. Aleix Espargaró is third and zarco fifth in front Morbidely and behind Miller who has everything to do again.

The second attack against the clock is launched five minutes from the checkered flag. Miller will be part of the battle. Iannone is betrayed by his Aprilia equipped with a carbon swingarm at the exit of the pitlane. Morbidely signs a good 1'39.727. Sufficient ? Affirmative! And the surprise comes from Joan mir who passes with his Suzuki, to the great dismay of bagnaia, first eliminated in front of his teammate Miller. Abraham will start 15th, in front Nakagami, great disappointment of the exercise and zarco who will start 18th.
