Barely alighting from his official Honda RC213V, still very happy to have obtained second place during qualifying for the Catalan Grand Prix, it was a very solid Marc Marquez who spoke to the microphone of the official website MotoGP.com.
Marc, on behalf of all MotoGP enthusiasts, thank you for the show! But can you tell us why you had to go through Q1?
Marc Márquez : "yes, it was a difficult day for us because, this morning, I had good times and I was still there, I felt really good on the bike, but, for certain reasons, I didn't was able to move directly into Q2. But I was confident in FP4, I was confident in Q1 and I was confident in Q2. And this 2nd place is really good because we are very close to the Ducati riders who here seem to have a little more. But regardless, we had to be smart and get it right, and we were able to be very fast.”
