Un Locatelli first in spirit then a Brad Binder revenge on a KTM which must finally launch its season after a so far disappointing journey, such is the appearance of the Moto2 field for this French Grand Prix. A table which will change this Saturday due to a wet track which will prohibit any change among a top 14 already qualified for Q2.

input, bastianini falls at turn 4. The air is 13° and the track is 15°. The drizzle is still in the air. Pasini, the freelancer for Petronas, takes the lead in 1'52.526. Fernandez answers in 1'51.175. He then improved to 1'50.008 and the surprise came from Dixon who comes third, behind Di Giannantonio.
Dixon even takes the lead in 1'49.402 with his KTM. For a thousandth, Fernandez takes control from him. A few minutes later and we notice a drying strip on the route. Pasini took advantage with a 1'47.667, ahead Lüthi which follows him below the 1'48 mark. Dixon withstands the shock and remains in the leading trio by maintaining Fernandez, Courses et Casa Particular in Viñales . Schrötter is 17th with his injured foot.

Baldassarri is only fifteenth. Lüthi passes in 1'46.835. Among the official KTMs, it's not joy with Martin as the best representative in sixth place. Binder is ninth.
We're approaching the last five minutes and Lowes joined Lüthi in the 1'46 zone. The Englishman did even better in 1'46.297. Pasini follows by grilling the politeness of the Swiss for two thousandths. Gardner follows and Casa Particular in Viñales is the first to stay in 1'47.
agitated switches to slick and clocks a 1'44.614 with his MV Agusta bike. Fernandez adopted the same strategy and achieved a 1'43.723. Courses follows. Odendal pleased NTS in 1'41.340. It's faster than Casa Particular in Viñales in MotoGP… Fernandez steals the show in 1'40.614. But the Dutch rider regains his position in 1'40.581. agitated is third. which gives us three different chassis in the leading trio.
