Even if the news concerning Tito Rabat is reassuring, the weather is obviously at the heart of all concerns on this Sunday of the British Grand Prix after the incidents that occurred yesterday in FP4...
The Warm up and the MotoGP race has been brought forward to try to escape the British bad weather which, obviously, the Silverstone circuit is not in the condition to accommodate.
So, exceptionally, it is the MotoGP which inaugurates this day, with a 20-minute warm-up which takes place under a gray sky and with temperatures of 14°, but a track that is still completely dry, which is the most important thing. .

Let's do this 💪
The track is dry (for now) as #MotoGP head out for their morning warm-up!#BritishGP 🇬🇧 pic.twitter.com/0msJBI8ZNE

At the opening of the session, we noticed that some drivers chose to use wet tires despite the dry track. We can assume that it is a question of breaking them in for this afternoon's race...
Like Marc Marquez, Valentino Rossi and Alex Rins, many of them change bikes after a first lap, in anticipation of a flag to flag race.
Maverick Vinales is the fastest at the end of the first flying lap, in 2'04.152.
Cal Crutchlow lowers this provisional reference to 2'03.412 on the next passage, in front Jorge Lorenzo, Jack Miller, Valentino Rossi, Marc Marquez and Johann Zarco.
One more loop, and it's Valentino Rossi who places his Yamaha at the top of the ranking, in 2'03.074, before Marc Márquez achieves 2'02.550 in his 5th lap.

All drivers are now on rear slick tires, except Maverick Vinales which uses a medium. Coincidence or not, the young Spaniard achieved the best time in 2'02.527. 5.
He then drove the point home 2 minutes from the checkered flag, in 2'01.980.

After the checkered flag, Cal Crutchlow brings back Bradley Smith on his motorbike, the Briton having visibly fallen on the handlebars of his KTM.

In the end, we have just witnessed a completely normal warm up, in the dry, where all the sizes are present in the top 10.
