Friday in Brno revealed two new leaders with the duo Nagashima and Di Giannantonio. The latter, with the Speed Up chassis, can look forward to the future with enthusiasm, but it will be necessary to overcome the pitfalls of a wet Saturday. The collective experience of machines equipped with the Triumph engine and specific electronics on a wet track is in fact limited and the new Moto2 will have to practice its ranges in these hostile conditions. Who will reveal themselves? And will the tenors of the championship, relatively discreet yesterday, finally show themselves?
Before answering these questions, here is the table that puts things into perspective…

18° in the air, 24° on the track, an overcast sky, but rain which no longer threatens, here are the conditions proposed to the pilots for the 40 minutes of exercise. With this important element: the trajectory dries on the track thanks to increasingly frequent clearings! Remember that the top 14 is still an open issue in order to directly enter Q2, the final of a qualification expected for this afternoon...
Some come out of the entrance still wearing rain tires, but return very quickly to change the situation because the track is drying more and more under the now permanent sun. Baldassarri rides alone with his slicks. he will therefore be the focal point of his colleagues who will observe his progress. He sets a benchmark of 2'11.268.

Odendal also came out of the pits and miraculously recovered his NTS from what would have been his third fall in three days... Gardner also came out, and scored a 2'07.824 which put him in the lead.
We have no words for this! 😱😱😱😱😱😱

Gardner continues his effort in 2'04.954. There are eight on the track: the Australian, Tulovic, Baldassarri, Martin, Odendaal, Bulega et Öttl. We are 26 minutes from the end of hostilities. It will be recalled that Folger is just starting his meeting by taking over from Pawi who withdrew at the end of the day on Friday. He rides under the Petronas colors.
Sam Lowes raises the cursor to 2'03.607. He is said to be in contact with Marc VDS to take the handlebars of Xavier Vierge... Open up increases the pace in 2'03.029.
The last quarter of an hour has begun and the entire field is at work. Pasini settles second to the one who is going to leave the VR46 academy, like Baldassarri and Foggia. The Italian veteran accelerates again and takes the lead in 2'02.638. We are on the clocks of the last two sessions, so the top 14 is not yet fixed.
Alex Marquez remembers everyone fondly in 2'02.585. As the last five minutes arrive, the brother of whom you know however comes through Schrötter who achieves a 2'02.304. Then 2'01.982.
Things are moving and Baldassarri exits Q2 due to a George Martin who takes second place in the exercise. Sam Lowes is in danger and he is the first driver threatened to find himself in Q1. But he will run away as the session returns to Open up in 2'01.747. Baldassarri is second, ahead of his teammate Fernandez. Pasini misses Q2, like Martin.
