Jaume Masiá began hostilities in this Grand Prix of the Czech Republic which marks the resumption of the season after four weeks of summer break. In Moto3, as in the two other categories of the Brno meeting, this afternoon will be taken seriously, because the weather could prove capricious from Saturday. For the discipline, it would therefore be a good idea to end your day in the top fourteen, or in the car heading directly towards Q2...

While waiting for the verdict of the track, here are the latest figures in a table…

25° in air; 34° on the track and an overcast but hardly threatening sky are the conditions offered to the pilots for the 40 minutes of exercise. Darryn binder entry fall at turn 7 while the first reference is the prerogative ofArbolino in 2'09.344. Then fenati sets the pace for his teammate in 2'09.308. It's just six thousandths better! Canet is seventh and Dallas Port 18th after a quarter of an hour of play.

The mid-session is thus approached. Then Canet clocked a 2'09.257 which put him in the lead. Can Öncü enters the top 5. The two men in KTM supervise Fenati, Arbolino et McPhee in Honda. The fact remains that it is the times achieved in the morning which remain the fastest. A quarter of an hour from the goal. López ranks fourth but then falls at turn 3… Dalla Porta is second, 45 thousandths behind his rival for the title.

Tuff accelerates in 2'09.076. But Drive did better in 2'08.519. This is the absolute best time of the day. Garcia, for his part, had a good time… He was 28th.

The last five minutes have begun. At cumulative times, Canet is 14th and Dallas Port 15th, and therefore in Q1… Can Öncü crash at turn 3. His second accident in two sessions. The last minute is intense and shakes up the hierarchy. Rodrigo won my stake in 2'08.125 before falling at the start of the next lap at turn 1. Drive et Dallas Port hangs on at turn 3... It's about time it stopped!
