It's a race filled with overtaking, surprises but also crashes, which the riders in the Moto3 category offered us this Sunday in Brno!

Aron Canet (Sterilgarda Max Racing Team) wins the Czech Republic Grand Prix and kills two birds with one stone by taking back the reins of the championship. Behind him, Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Leopard Racing) takes second place on the podium and Tony Arbolino (VNE Snipers), author of pole position this Saturday, brings up the rear.

Here are the top 3 statements:

Aron Canet: “It was a very difficult race because it was moving a lot from the first laps. The most important thing in this type of race is to stay on your wheels and stay focused because there is often contact between the drivers. I found myself in fifth place throughout the race and at the end I saw that everyone behind was trying to overtake me. My strategy was to defend myself as much as possible then attack in the final lap to take victory. I am very happy to have won here, to regain leadership, even if Lorenzo Dalla Porta is very close. We are 50 points ahead of Niccolò Antonelli, that's a good thing. But we must continue to work to increase the margin with Dalla Porta.”

Lorenzo Dalla Porta: “Qualifying was difficult for us, but today I had a good feeling with the bike since the warmup. I knew we could get back among the top riders during the first few laps. I tried to attack as much as possible, to make clean overtakes to quickly get back to the leading group. When I got to first position, my front tire was very worn, like all the drivers, I think. I tried to do my best but on the last lap, after making two mistakes, I couldn't get first place. It's a shame but it's a good result considering the problems we had this weekend. Even if Arón Canet gets back in front in the championship, I'm only three points behind him and that's a good thing.”

Tony Arbolino: “I would have preferred to take the victory, but that doesn't matter, I'm now very happy with this third position. The race was difficult, I didn't think I would have so many problems with the tires. Everyone wanted to push very hard in front, me too, but I tried to stay calm and race intelligently. On the last lap I tried to pass the two drivers in front of me but it wasn't possible. This third place motivates me even more for the next races, we will continue on the good path we are following and try to win other races in the future.”

As for the general classification, Aron Canet returns to first position with a total of 148 points. Only 3 points behind the leader, we find Lorenzo Dalla Porta.
Niccolo Antonelli, author of a magnificent comeback this weekend, closes this top 3, scoring a total of 98 points.
