Stefano Manzi will not participate in the Malaysian Grand Prix scheduled for November 2-4 at the Sepang circuit.

The decision was made following the results of the MRI scan Manzi underwent on Monday morning at Avenue Radiology & MRI Hospital in Melbourne, where a fractured left wrist was diagnosed.
The rider from Rimini therefore returned to Italy to be treated as well as possible and to be ready to hit the track again in Valencia for the last round of the season.

Rafid Topan Sucipto, 24, from Indonesia with eighteen participations in the Moto2 World Championship, will be responsible for replacing Manzi for the race weekend in Malaysia.

Topan has won several victories in his career: two Novice titles in the Indonesian National Championship in 2007 and 2008, the Expert title in 2009, and in 2011 the Underbone title in the PETRONAS Asia Road Racing Championship.

At the end of 2012 he made his debut in the Moto2 Championship replacing a rider at the Valencia GP and the following year he earned a full season place in the same category.
He also took part in the CEV Superstock 600 European Championship where, in his debut at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, he won both races in his category.
The Team Forward striker warmly welcomes Topan and wishes him good luck for the three days of racing in Sepang.
