In view of the latest performances on this Sepang track and in view of the test sessions carried out in this Malaise Grand Prix, Ducati should be able to postpone the decision concerning the constructors' championship to Valencia. But it has not happened. The reassuring declarations of Dovizioso fainted during the 20 laps completed in the Malaysian furnace. Honda, meanwhile, took victory with its phenomenon Marquez, and therefore the crown. And again, for the reds, it could have been worse...

Because without his fall four laps from the goal, Valentino Rossi would have joined DesmoDovi for the runner-up position in the world which ultimately went to the official Ducati even before the Valencia final. Something has gone wrong in the Borgo Panigale clan, and we will have to analyze that.

Still, Yamaha found something, Ducati lost something and Suzuki definitely has something. But, in the end, it's Marc Marquez who wins... However, we will focus on the performance ofHafizh Syharin who will probably never have so deserved the status of local hero.

Starting last, the Tech3 driver crossed the finish line tenth, first among the beginners and to the cheers of his compatriots. A great success, a magnificent comeback and a just reward.

Marquez has 321 points Dovizioso counts 220 and Red 195. The latter sees Vinales glue it back to two units. Kidneys enters the top 5 with 149 points, the same capital as a zarco sixth who takes the lead among the independents at one Crutchlow flat rate. Petrucci is eighth with four points behind the Englishman and therefore five behind the Frenchman. Everything is still possible in Valencia in this competition.

Among the rookies, Morbidely still holds the rope with 50 points, ten more than Syahrin. Here too, it will be decided in Valencia, in two weeks.
