It is under a threatening sky that FP2 begins. The drivers set off in a temperature of 23 degrees in the air and 30 degrees on the track. Like this morning, Mattia Pasini (Italtrans Racing Team) sets the reference time (1'38.797).
After ten minutes, the Italian still leads ahead of his compatriot Francesco Bagnaia (SKY Racing Team VR46), Joan mir (EG 0,0 Marc VDS), Marcel Schrötter (Dynavolt Intact GP) and Dominique Aegerter (Kiefer Racing). At the same time, Jorge Navarro (Federal Oil Gresini Moto2) makes a mistake.
The session is quite calm and the positions don't move much. After fifteen minutes, Alex Marquez (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) and Danny Kent (Beta Tools – Speed Up Racing) almost crash into each other while taking a turn. Tempers are getting a little heated.

Halfway through the session, Marcel Schrötter took command in front Mattia Pasini, Francis Bagnaia, Joan Mir et Alex Marquez. Behind, Luca marini (SKY Racing Team VR46), Simone Corsi (Tasca Racing Scuderia Moto2), Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Ajo), Dominique Aegerter (Kiefer Racing) and Augusto Fernández (Pons HP 40) complete the top 10.
Two minutes from the end, Sam Lowes (Swiss Innovative Investors) then Marcel Schrötter make a mistake. Up front, the positions ultimately did not change and it was the German, despite his fall, who won ahead of the Italian pair Pasini/bagnaia.
