The Repsol Honda rider will continue to try to get back to the front this weekend, something that has been complicated for him since the start of the season.

Dani Pedrosa has yet to reach the podium this season, for the first time in his career, his best result being fifth place at Le Mans and Barcelona. Although he continues to encounter difficulties, he does not give up and tries to return to the forefront at each Grand Prix.

The Misano circuit could allow him to get back on the podium given that this Grand Prix has often succeeded for him in the past. We remember, for example, his victory in 2016 or even that of 2010, as well as his four podiums in 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2014 as well as his two pole positions.

The Spanish driver therefore has the cards in hand to achieve a good result, even if the track conditions and the weather could disrupt things a little: “I hope we will have good weather in Misano and that we will be able to properly exploit each of the sessions. I quite like this track, even if it is a little bumpy and the grip is often a challenge, because it can change a lot between the morning session and the afternoon session. The choice of tires will be very important. I also like the atmosphere with the fans who are always very passionate, and it's always good to see the stands crowded. »
