After having suffered the flood at Silverstone, the MotoGP riders are happy to find the sun again Misano. This San Marino Grand Prix will therefore be played in good weather, but there is no sign of a lull between the protagonists. The hand extended by Marc Marquez to Valentino Rossi and refused by the latter increased tenfold the motivation of the first city which would be delighted to triumph in this way on enemy territory. But Jorge Lorenzo has rediscovered all his talent which he manages to display on a Ducati in great shape. His teammate Dovizioso swears that at least five drivers can win on Sunday. This is promising! Who will show off their muscles during this warm-up session?

Before answering this question, here is a reminder of the facts in table…

First of all, here is a reminder of a fact that brightened up Saturday’s qualifying…

24° in the air, 27° on the track, the conditions are ideal for motorcycling! In 1'34.706, Red signs the first reference. In 1'33.839, Miller answers him and shows that his position won on Saturday is not an accident. Dovizioso then takes the lead and also that of the Ducati troops in 1'33.737. Lorenzo inserts himself between the two men.

Marquez disrupts this meeting between “Ducatists” by slamming a 1'32.620. It is in full medium. Dovi in soft medium and Lorenzo in full software. At Yamaha, Vinales, fifth, rides with a soft-medium suit, Rossi, fourteenth, with a couple of mediums. Crutchlow comes third with the same ride as Marquez.

1'32.564 is the new benchmark set by DesmoDovi as the last five minutes approach. With Iannone in the lead, the Suzukis are sixth and seventh in medium-soft.

There are only 56 thousandths that separate Dovizioso et Marquez while the third Crutchlow is already more than three tenths behind the leading duo. These three are the only ones below the 1'33 mark. Marquez adds another 1'32.536. Miller, fourth, ahead Lorenzo by 9 thousandths! The latter switched to full medium… And achieved a time of 1'32.715, synonymous with third position.

We will leave it there with one Red eleventh and one zarco fifteenth in full soft…
