While some go to bed, others get up and others find themselves still in the arms of Morpheus, the microcosm of MotoGP has an appointment with the fifteenth round of the world championship which has taken up residence in Thailand, first stage of a series of four meetings in the Far East.

It is therefore the Buriram track which, initially, hosts a Moto3 category where the suspense remains stronger than ever concerning the attribution of the world title, from Aragon where the Italian Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Honda, Leopard Racing), championship leader, missed his race, thus letting the Spaniard return Aron canet (KTM, Sterilgarda Max Racing Team), the colt of Max Biaggi, just 2 points away in the general classification.

Tony Arbolino (Honda, VNE Snipers), revelation of the year and privileged observer, is still in the race for the crown, but is still more than one victory away from the leading duo.

With five races to go before the end of the season, the smartest will perhaps be the one who makes no mistakes, which promises to be difficult this weekend given the anticipated weather forecasts for Saturday and Sunday...

This morning, during FP1, the drivers tried as much as possible to take advantage of this sunny Saturday and this resulted in already very fast times with which the 3 strong men of the championship nevertheless arrived in opposite positions compared to the classification of this one: so much the better !

Andrea Migno (KTM, Bester Capital Dubai) was however the fastest in FP1…

This afternoon, temperatures rose to 32° in the air and 52° on the ground, as the 29 drivers in the category prepare to compete in this 2-minute FP40 on the Chang circuit:

Ai Ogura (Honda, Honda Team Asia) is the first to set off at the opening of the track.

Filip Salac (KTM, Redox PrüstlGP) set the first benchmark in 1'44.211 ahead of Arón Canet.

Quickly, we descend to 1'43.446 under the impetus of Tatsuki suzuki (Honda, SIC58 Squadra Corse).

Among the four substitutes, we note the good performance of Julian Jose Garcia which temporarily replaces Roman Fenati within the VNE Snipers team, the young Spaniard running in the same times as Tony Arbolino thanks to the latter's help.

At mid-session, none of the first 13 drivers this morning improved their best time, despite the use of soft tires.

Just a quarter of an hour from the end of the session, the championship leader Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Honda, Leopard Racing) shows up and moves to second provisional position.

Ayumu Sasaki (Honda, Petronas Sprinta Racing), whose anniversary is today, receives a penalty for irresponsible behavior during FP1. The Japanese driver will start last on the starting grid.

5 minutes from the checkered flag, almost all the drivers are in their box, waiting for the one who will take the little train for a single lap...

The final rush sees gabriel rodrigo (Honda, Kömmerling Gresini Moto3) win in front Dennis Foggia (KTM, Sky Racing Team VR46).
