At this late hour of the night or so close to a new day to come, the MotoGP planet, which is beginning its overseas tour, is wide awake, as the fifteenth round of the championship begins. This first stop of the Far Eastern tour takes place in Thailand on the Buriram route, where last year, for the first edition, it was Marc Márquez who made history by being victorious there. Andrea Dovizioso, the Ducati official, finished second, and Maverick Viñales the Yamaha rider third. The championship is almost complete with a Marc MáYou are almost assured of winning your eighth title in the premier category. This could be the case this weekend, unless bad luck surreptitiously takes hold of the Honda Repsol rider, who like Austin, is also not immune to a crash. This of course without counting on the very effective swaying of the Cervera pilot which allowed him so many times to escape from the cagade.

Márquez takes the lead with a time of 1.31.792s. Miller et Quarterly are second and third before being taken over by the Ducati official, Petrucci in 1.32.902s who comes to position himself second. Dovizioso is fourth fastest. Pol Espargaro, still recovering, is seventh on the KTM. His elder on the Aprilia, Aleix, is eleventh.
Yamaha officials are sixth for Rossi, et Casa Particular in Viñales fifteenth, he runs in 1.33.237s. At Suzuki, it's the grimace soup for Kidneys, the latter being fourteenth. His teammate, Mir is ninth.
After 9 minutes, things are going strong, the positions are as follows: Márquez in 1.31.187s, Rossi in 1.31.988s, Viñales in 1.32.079s, Quartararo in 1.32.080s and Dovizioso in 1.32.170s. Very efficient Yamahas from this first session.

Lorenzo is currently in eighteenth position. Crutchlow et Nakagami the Honda LCR drivers are twelfth and fourteenth. Quarterly made the effort and came to position himself third best time instead of Red. It runs in 1.31.861s. His teammate Morbidely is also comfortable, he is fifth in 1.32.088s. Olive tree returned to the track, the KTM Tech3 rider is in twentieth position.
Kidneys returns to the pits due to technical problems, engine failure visibly.

Behind Dovizioso came back strongly and took second place in 1.31.187s. Quartararo did the same by setting the best time in 1.31.170s.
The top5 is as follows 20 seconds from the end of the session: Viñales who takes the lead in 1.30.979s ahead of Quartararo, Márquez, Dovizioso and Miller.
