Dani Pedrosa is not having a good season, but the driver hopes that the GP will be positive at Buriram, a track on which he dominated the February tests.

For his last season in MotoGP, Dani Pedrosa will have the opportunity to ride on the brand new circuit on the calendar, Buriram. A new opportunity for the Sabadell driver to turn things around in a final season which has so far not gone as he wanted. He, who has only been at the forefront throughout his career, has not yet reached the podium this year. He has five races left to achieve this.

A negative provisional record, given that this had never happened to him, not even during his “worst” year which dates back to his debut in 125cc in 2001. He then finished the season with two podiums. However, it should be remembered that during the February tests, which was the MotoGP field's only contact with the Chang International Circuit, Pedrosa concluded the three days with the absolute best time of 1'29.781. An important sign for the Spaniard, still looking for a feeling with his bike and the tires, and who could take advantage of the novelty of the circuit to do so, if the weather permits.

He thus declared: “We are going to race for the first time in Buriram and we don't really know what to expect. We of course have data from the tests, very positive, carried out in February so we hope to find this good feeling again. The heat will be really high and it will test the bike, the tires and all of us riders. However, we are used to it since we have been driving in Malaysia for several years. »
